Anakin Skywalker and the Monster Books part 5

Frank stared at the naked young woman that had dozens of tattoos that was being walked into the waiting area by a pink skinned alien with blue hair and lips. "What's going on?" he asked when his brain processed the fact that the naked girl had her hands tied with rope.

"I'm making a citizen's arrest," Syn replied, doing her best to sound annoyed and upset as she marched Anna over to the officer's desk, despite the fact that she was barely keeping her amusement off her face. Her annoyed tone got a bit more genuine when she noticed her lightsaber sitting on the captain's desk like a trophy and not locked up in evidence where it 'should' be. 'Kriffing bastards!'

"Why?" Frank asked, not even bothering to take his eyes off Anna's breasts.

"Because she's a bitch!" Anna argued, her eyes quickly scanning the room, noticing the lightsaber on one of the nicer looking desks. 'At least breaking a bunch of windows on the way here reduced the number of officers that we'll have to deal with.'

"This harlot stole my man by showing up naked and telling him that she'd fuck his brains out on his speeder if he left me, the fucker tossed my bag at my face and proceeded to fuck her on my speeder!" Syn complained.

"It's not my fault you couldn't handle your ex," Anna replied with a smirk.

"She obviously used some sort of Force power on him!" Syn complained as Frank stood up and walked around the desk.

"Can you lock the bitch up?" Anna asked hopefully. "She's obviously cracked if she thinks I'm a Jedi, I'm just hot."

"So, you can't use the Force?" he asked.

"The only Force Power I can use is force sleep," Anna lied.

"What's that?" Frank asked, trying to remember any mention of Jedis being able to put people to sleep with their minds.

"It's a trick, I basically fuck people until they fall asleep," Anna said smugly.

"Damn, I'd like to see that," Frank replied with a smirk.

"Sure," Anna replied with a grin as she let the ropes that she'd been holding in place with the Force drop, reached out, grabbed the officer's head and slammed it into the counter before he finished processing the fact that she wasn't tied up anymore, knocking him unconscious.

"Force Sleep, really?" Syn asked with amusement as she used the Force to retrieve her lightsaber from the captain's desk.

"He's asleep," Anna replied with a smirk as she reached down and grabbed his access card out of his pocket along with some credit chips.

"Asleep is not the same thing as unconscious," Syn argued as she checked to make sure her lightsaber worked, causing a purple blade to come out of the end of it.

"Close enough, do we want to leave or loot the evidence locker?" Anna asked with a grin as she wiggled the security card.

"You're a horrible influence, you know that right?" Syn asked with amusement.

"We're going to need to delete the recordings anyway, we might as well make it worth it and they're more than a bit corrupt since they're obviously confiscating anything they feel like," Anna replied as she headed over to the door that led deeper into the station.

"Might as well, we've probably got about ten minutes before someone realizes something happened to Frank," Syn replied as she used the Force to float the unconscious security guard over the counter and back into his seat, leaving him slumped on the desk like he'd just fallen asleep.

Anna used the card to open the door then walked down the hallway, curious what sort of weapons and contraband the officers had managed to confiscate.

Syn hurried after Anna, fairly sure she was insane for trusting her but she had a good feeling about the crazy girl.

Anna smiled at the dark haired clerk that walked out of a door and froze when he saw her, fairly sure he was barely out of school. "Are you the birthday boy?"

"Hell yeah," he replied with a grin, easily recognizing his blue haired cousin standing behind the attractive naked girl and figuring that his annoying uncover mission was just about over.

'This isn't going to end well,' Syn thought, easily recognizing her trouble-prone cousin despite Ben's attempt to grow a beard. 'What the hell is he doing here?'

"Cool, I'm supposed to drag you to the evidence locker and fuck your brains out, where are we going?" Anna asked with a smirk.

The clerk glanced at his cousin then laughed and headed down the hall toward the evidence room, curious how far his cousin's friend would let things get before she tried to knock him unconscious. "Right this way."

"How long do you think it will take…" Luke trailed off as Shmi flew out of the book. "Never mind."

"How did the surgery go?!" Anakin asked as his mother moved away from the table, relieved that his mother looked happy.

"The surgery went fine," Shmi assured them as Syn and Ben flew out of the book carrying several large bags each.

'Damn, if I wasn't dating Selena,' Luke mused as he studied the attractive and busty young woman with pink skin and blue lips that was dressed in a short red dress.

Syn set the bags filled with the equipment they've stolen from the evidence locker on the ground and glanced around the simple house, a bit surprised by the number of force users and their power.

Anna smiled as she flew out of the book and landed next to Luke. "Welcome to Tatooine."

"Tatooine…" the young man with dark hair trailed off when he turned and recognized Luke's face. 'Damn, he looks like Luke.'

"Huh," Syn muttered when she recognized Luke. "Luke Skywalker?"

"Last I checked, why?" Luke asked wearily, surprised that he'd recognized him.

Ben frowned when he sensed the kid's confusion, knowing that anyone in his family that looked nearly identical or identical to their ancestor wouldn't be confused by someone mistaking them for the original Luke. "You forgot to mention the portal taking us back in time."

"It's not exactly time travel, we were in an alternative dimension that wasn't actually real until we stepped through the portal," Anna explained.

Ben stared at Anna for a couple of seconds, trying to figure out if she was joking or just insane. "Why are all of the cute girls insane?"

"Bad luck?" Syn replied with a shrug as she turned her attention to the strange metal frame with a portal in it that was just floating near the wall of the humble abode that they found themselves in.

"I'm not crazy, start trying to remember details about your family or your life and you'll realize there are gaps," Anna told him.

"Memory isn't perfect…" Ben trailed off as he realized that he couldn't actually remember the faces of half of the current Jedi Council, outside of his family members that were on it. 'Am I losing my mind or is she telling the truth?' He glanced at his cousin. "Can you remember any of the faces of the council members?"

"Other than Zen Kenobi, I don't even recall their names," Syn replied, not worried about it since she didn't actually care about the council and had only been at the temple long enough to pick up some lessons on healing. "No but I wasn't interested in politics or becoming a Jedi."

"That's fair," Ben admitted as he reached out to the Force and tried to get an idea of what was going on in the galaxy. He frowned slightly as he realized that most of the Force users he could sense weren't in the right direction or location. "So, let's pretend that I believe you or that we're in the past, can I get some names?"

"I'm Anna Skywalker, that's Bella and Anakin Skywalker, we're Shmi Skywalker's children from three different timelines and Luke and Leia are the children of a future version of a different Anakin Skywalker, are you confused yet?" Anna asked with a touch of amusement.

"And the togruta is Ahsoha Tano, right?" Ben asked, recognizing her from the council's records and the history lessons that padawans had to take.

"Correct," Ahsoka replied with a grin.

"That explains a lot," Syn mused, thinking of the various times that Ahsoka had shown up over the years in strange places.

Anna gestured toward Luna. "Luna is Bella's teacher and Selena Kenobi is working on putting her workshop together or she'd be here."

"Can we get some names for the strangers?" Luna asked, getting the sense that it was important.

"I'm Ben Skywalker and this is my cousin Syn Skywalker, we're descended from one of Luke's children," Ben offered.

'Just as well I didn't flirt with her,' Luke thought, relieved that he hadn't made a fool of himself.

"Kriff," Anna cursed when she realized that she was technically related to Ben and Syn. 'So much for talking them into bed.'

Syn snickered when she noticed the disappointed look on Anna's face. "What makes you think we're not real?"

"You're real," Anakin assured her. "You jumped through the portal."

"The book basically creates or borrows people from possible timelines, once you leave you're just as real as anyone else," Luna offered.

"If Anakin is a child, that means we have about ten years before the Clone Wars, right?" Ben asked Luke, figuring he'd know.

"Assuming it happens the same way," Luke mused, thinking about his father's rants about the damned war.

"Did Vader take over the Empire after he killed the Emperor in your timeline?" Leia asked, curious how close the timelines were.

Ben shook his head. "No, he died from his injuries to save his son after Palpatine tried to turn his son to the Darkside."

"How old was Luke?" Ahsoka asked.

"Twenty three," Ben replied, thinking back to his history classes. "What happened in your timeline?"

"The emperor had an assassin kill our mother, Dad found out and tossed a Star Destroyer at the Imperial Palace, killing him and most of his flunkies," Luke explained. "He took over the new empire because the old senate was corrupt and nearly useless and the clones considered him their commander. He finished the war with the separatists and rebuilt the senate to deal with the paperwork."

"Are you saying he turned it back over?" Syn asked, a bit surprised.

"That was the eventual goal but they kept electing corrupt idiots that he had to execute so it mostly turned into a senate with oversite, as in if they did something stupid he'd execute them and start over, it worked surprisingly well and is really popular with the general population," Luke explained.

"That sounds like a lot of work," Anakin grumbled.

"He wasn't going to let everything fracture and he spent a lot of time dealing with pirates and slavers," Leia offered.

"It could have been worse," Ahsoka assured them.

Syn glanced between Ahsoka, Luke and Leia. "Do you have a plan for dealing with the clone wars?"

"I figured we'd start by killing the future emperor before he gets started," Leia offered, figuring that would give them more time to deal with the worst senators and the Trade Federation.

"Tell us what you need and we're there," Ben assured her.

"Seriously?" Leia asked, surprised that they were jumping into things without more information.

"You're a Skywalker," Ben stated as if that was the most obvious thing in the world. "I might not always agree with my family but I've always got their back when it matters."

"Unless we have to knock them unconscious," Syn added.

"That's usually for their own good," Ben argued as Selena stepped out of the floating portal frame.

"How did the surgery go?" Selena asked Shmi.

"It went fine," Shmi assured her. "I'm supposed to take it easy for a couple of days but the doctor gave me a bacta patch so I should be fine in a couple of hours."

"Now we just need to wait," Selena smiled as she felt her father or the local version of her father jump into the system along with an unfamiliar force presence that was probably Qui-Gon Jinn. "For my father, which shouldn't be more than a couple of hours considering he just arrived in the system."

"If we're going to murder Watto, we should probably kill him before the Jedi get here," Anna suggested.

Shmi shook her head, fairly sure her daughter wasn't actually serious about killing him. "We're not killing Watto, he could have been a lot worse."

"Watto?" Ben asked, not sure who they were talking about.

"He was our owner before we managed to get rid of the slave chips," Anakin grumbled, not sure how to feel about the toydarian.

'I should have just taken care of the problem,' Anna thought, remembering some of the times that he'd gotten drunk and talked about selling her when she got older so that he could retire. "If we're not going to kill him, what are we going to do with him?"

"We should either kill him or bribe him," Ahsoka suggested, knowing the Hutts would put their name on a list of escaped slaves that would complicate things if they didn't deal with Watto.

"I have a couple of things in my workshop that I can probably bribe him with, including some shiny new droids," Selena offered.

"Worth a try," Ahsoka said, thinking about the story Anakin had told her about how he'd run into the toydarian when he'd come to save his mother. "Worst case, we can rig some type of bet."

"Sounds like a plan, we should probably start packing," Shmi told Anakin.

"I'll take care of it," Anakin said as he jumped up and headed for his room to get started.

"How good are you with a lightsaber?" Ahsoka asked Ben, trying to get an idea of how much help he'd be against Maul.

"I'm one of the best in the clan, why?" Ben asked.

"I needed a sparring partner and we've got a couple of Sith to kill," Ahsoka replied, wanting to make sure that Maul died before he could kill Qui-Gon.

Ben shook his head. "I've fought Maul's echo, killing him shouldn't be a problem but Sidious has a talent for Force Lightning and he can draw on the dark side of the Force to pull off some nasty powers, including choking people while they're fighting. I can probably block the lightning but I doubt I could take him by myself, he's more than twice my age and he's a resourceful bastard from what I've read."

"We don't need you to kill him by yourself, I just need someone that can help," Anna assured him.

"I'm willing to help, I'm just trying to make sure you understand how dangerous he is," Ben warned her.

Anna smiled. "I know how to deal with his Force Lightning once I find a tattoo artist and some alchemy supplies."

"I'm a decent artist and I can work a tattoo gun, my mother taught me," Syn offered.

"Fantastic," Anna replied with a grin, happy that they wouldn't have to outsource the work. "In that case, I'll start looking for the ingredients."

"Don't forget to steal his ship," Selena cut in. "It has a cloaking device or it should have a cloaking device."

"It's on the list," Luke assured her. "How good are you at programming combat droids for using lightsabers?"

"I've got a couple of tricks, why?" Ben asked.

Selena gestured toward the floating portal. "Because I've got a couple of dozen that need to be upgraded with different styles."

"How much time do we have?" Syn asked.

"Maul showed up as we were leaving so we should have at least a day, unless something changed," Anna offered.

Ben nodded. "Should be enough to make them useful as a distraction."

"Do you need help cooking?" Syn asked Shmi.

"I wouldn't object but I need to go to the market," Shmi admitted, knowing she didn't have enough food for everyone.

"We have food," Luke assured them.

"Sounds like we have a game plan," Luna said, looking forward to killing Maul this time around before he killed anyone.

Obi-Wan frowned as he tried to get a sense of the planet they were approaching and realized that he could feel at least eight presences on the planet that drew his attention. "Do you sense that? It feels like the entire council is on the planet."

"More than that," Qui-Gon mused. "Do you sense any danger?"

"No," Obi-Wan replied after a couple of seconds of trying to get a better grasp of what he could sense. "More excitement and... amusement in the Force."

"As if the Force itself is giddy," Qui-Gon agreed.

"Have you ever felt anything like it?" Obi-Wan asked, curious what they'd find on the planet.

"I've felt echoes in the Force but nothing like this, we were obviously brought here for a reason," Qui-Gon said.

"And I thought we were here for a hyperspace motivator," Obi-Wan replied a touch sarcastically.

"The Force works in mysterious ways, perhaps in the process of getting the part, we'll find the reason the Force is amused," Qui-Gon offered.

"Or perhaps they'll find us," Obi-Wan replied, getting the sense that the Force was amused about something in relation to him specifically.

"Do I need to change course or should I continue heading for Mos Espa?" the pilot asked.

Qui-Gon smiled slightly when he got a gentle nudge in the Force, confirming that Mos Espa was indeed their target. "Head to Mos Espa, that is where we'll find everything."

"Right," the pilot replied as he tried to relax and ignore the Jedi.

"What do we tell the queen?" Obi-Wan asked.

"If she asks, tell her that we might be able to find some help," Qui-Gon replied, getting the sense that their mission had just gotten more complicated and yet easier in a way that he couldn't put his finger on.

Obi-Wan sighed, a touch concerned about the strange presences he could feel on the planet. "I hope you know what you're doing."

"I trust the Force," Qui-Gon replied as he left the cockpit with a smile on his face.

Obi-Wan couldn't help the sense that the Force was laughing at him or maybe with him for some reason as he followed his Master.
