Time Loops, Wheel of Time Part 11

Moria giggled as she poured saidar into the model of the tower, paying for another twenty children to be born. "We're going to have to send everyone back to school, I'm running out of channelers of decent quality."

"You're just getting picky," Mist replied with amusement, not taking his eyes off the group of cultists that he was scanning while they worked on hooking up their wagon. 'Cult of the noodle god, at least they're not darkfriends.'

"I'm not being picky," Moria argued as she let go of the source. "We're just scraping the bottom of the barrel because we've already created twenty seven thousand five hundred and sixty one students, we need fresh blood."

Egwene pulled her attention off the group of six mostly naked girls that were painting another wagon in front of the workshop and looked at Moria. "How crazy is the current batch of cultists?"

Mist smiled as he finished the scan and picked up a pattern for a unit of Noodle Cultists, giving him the ability to create more. "They're not as bad as the Amayar since they're not a death cult but they're crazy enough to believe that a giant intelligent collection of noodles will guide everyone to a better land when they die. They also have an obsession with non-violently converting other cult members which means we should probably send them through a gateway Amadicia before the other group of cultists is finished."

"Do they have magic?" Moria asked as Egwene opened a gateway in front of the cultist's wagon.

"No, their 'talent' for converting cultists is basically a magical curse, it's tied to the desire to convert people and the ability to sway people," Mist explained as the cultists headed through the gateway.

"Are we sure that we want the cultists spreading?" Egwene asked, hoping they weren't making a mistake.

Mist smiled slightly as he pictured a bunch of people running around setting up pasta festivals and preaching about a giant noodle god. "They're not particularly good at recruiting normal people which means they'll probably convert a bunch of whitecloaks and darkfriends and the rest of the people should just ignore them, they're not particularly offensive."

"I'll take your word for it," Egwene replied as she let the gateway close once the cultists were through. "Any bets on your next group of cultists?"

"Nope, it's pretty random," Mist replied as the girls that were painting the new cultist wagon finished and three half naked teenage girls walked out of the workshop wearing silk loincloths. He scanned the women that were covered in glowing tattoos of vaguely familiar symbols. "That looks promising."

"That's what you said about the cannibals," Moria muttered.

"To be fair, they had some interesting cooking skills," Mist replied as he waited for the scan to finish.

"Try horrifying," Egwene argued, fairly sure he was just messing with her.

"It's not like they killed people for food, they just liked eating the dead," Mist replied as his scan finished and he picked up another cultist pattern, trying not to laugh. "Do you want the good news or the bad news?"

"Start with the bad news," Moria suggested as she studied the naked girls that were walking over to talk to them. 'At least they're attractive.'

"They like showing off their bodies and being touched and they have religious objections to wearing anything that covers their breasts," Mist offered.

"That's it?" Moria asked, not sure how that was a bad thing, unless they left the city and had to deal with the rest of the world.

"They also like summoning demons so they can have children blessed with supernatural abilities," Mist replied with a grin.

Egwene shook her head. "What's the good news?"

"Most of the "demons" they summon are actually a group of near human fae and powerful magic users from another realm that like having sex and dressing up in costumes."

"Most?" Egwene asked.

"There's a twenty percent chance of actually summoning a demon which is bad because the resulting child will rip itself out of its mother. On the upside, all of the children generally get a decent amount of magic and bloodline abilities from their 'fathers' and a copy of their mother's magic which should give us a way to increase the number of people with rare talents. The cultists get sixteen years where they're immune to disease and don't age. If they have sex with their children on their sixteenth birthday or up to three days after, they actually get five years younger and they get a permanent boost to their magic and appearance."

"It's a good deal," the busty cultist with red hair argued as they stopped five feet away from the group.

"Except the twenty percent chance of dying," Egwene argued as she studied the girls that certainly looked like they could be related, if you ignored the fact that two of them had crimson hair rather than the other girl's more natural looking red.

"I'll take my chances," the cultist replied with a shrug. "I was twenty five when I joined the cult and I got ten years back for fucking my daughters on their birthdays and another thirty two years where I don't have to worry about disease or getting pregnant unless I use the ritual. I'll take those odds considering how many people die from drinking tainted water or food where we're from."

"We're planning on doing the ritual once we reach twenty one so we can increase our magic," one of the crimson haired cultists offered with a grin.

"And I want a daughter to fuck," the other girl said cheerfully as she bounced on her heels, causing her generous breasts to bounce.

"Makes sense," Moria replied with a grin, not really seeing a problem with the ritual, if you ignored the twenty percent chance of dying. "Do you think binding them to one of the bottles would make the ritual safer?"

"Probably," Mist mused as he spent the mana to start creating another wagon filled with cultists. "You're welcome to stick around, we have an excellent magic school that I think you'd enjoy and there are a lot of naked girls that you could probably recruit."

"Fuck yeah!" one of the crimson haired girls squealed excitedly. "Do you want to fuck?" she asked Moria and Egwene hopefully.

"Sure," Moria replied with a grin, not seeing a problem having sex with the attractive girl.

"We'll see," Egwene offered, wanting to get to know the girl a bit more before she jumped into bed with her but not ruling it out as she was certainly attractive.

"I swing both ways, how cute are the guys?" the other teenager asked.

"Decent," Mist replied with amusement, fairly sure she'd be able to find someone to her tastes considering the sheer number of channelers they'd been recruiting and creating over the last couple of weeks.

"What's the point of the glowing tattoos?" Moria asked, curious if they were actually useful and looking forward to grabbing her brother and having some fun with the other cultist now that she had some free time.

"They look neat," the older cultist replied with a grin. "We have a spell that creates glowing 'temporary' tattoos that we can dismiss if we want to change them."

"I can also enchant the tattoos with minor magical qualities, like making sure we don't freeze our nipples off," one of the crimson haired cultists offered.

"Which is good," the youngest cultist said as she stepped behind her sister, reached around and grabbed her sister's nipples, "they're too cute to lose."

"Damn straight," the older sister replied as she pressed her ass against her sister's crotch.

"Not even close," the youngest replied with amusement. "You're completely bent."

"Speaking of bending, do you want to bend us over your knee and spank us?" the older sister asked hopefully.

"Absolutely, let's head over to the fountain," Moria replied cheerfully as she handed Mist the model of the tower and started walking toward the fountain in the middle of the square where a group of teenagers was hanging out and playing cards, figuring the bench around the edge of the fountain was more than wide enough to have sex on.

Mist turned to look at the oldest cultist as the younger cultists followed Moria. "I have access to a magic school, do you want to pick up some classes?"

"Yes!" the cultist replied without hesitation, seeing a chance to spread the faith. "Just send the girls when they're done having fun."

"It might take a couple of weeks, one day inside is one minute out here," Mist warned her.

"That's fine, what do I have to do?" the cultist asked, curious what she'd have to do for the chance to study magic.

"Just say Library for Learning while touching the model only you replace the for with an of," Mist explained as he held the model out.

"That's it?" the cultist asked, surprised that it wasn't more complicated.

"That's it," Mist agreed.

The cultist reached out and touched the model. "Library of Learning," she chanted and promptly vanished.

"Do you think binding them to a bottle would save them from getting ripped apart?" Egwene asked thoughtfully.

"No," Mist replied as a group of a dozen naked teenage girls appeared around them with a young man in his late teens that was wearing underwear, "but it would probably let them survive being ripped apart. Welcome to the real world."

"Hey boss," one of the girls offered as she rubbed her arms. "We need a better way to keep from freezing once we leave the school."

"Let me guess, you didn't buy the temperature controlled underwear?" Egwene asked the red haired girl with familiar features that she couldn't quite place, except that she was fairly sure the girl was related to her.

The girl shook her head. "Sorry Grandma, I spent all of my points on talents."

"Grandma?" Egwene asked.

"I'm Janna al'Thor, my parents are Joiya al'Thor and Aviendha," the girl replied with a grin.

"Aviendha?" Egwene asked in surprise. 'Is this because of Moria?'

"My mom wanted to pick up some more skills and improve her talents," one of the other red haired girls spoke up. "I'm Alice Trakand, my parents are Aviendha and Elayne, they decided to take advantage of the school's magic and have children with each other."

"It could be worse, you could be an al'Thor or an al'Vere," Belle al'Vere piped up. "Egwene's my great, great aunt and aunt considering Berowyn al'Vere is my great grandmother and Loise al'Vere is my mother."

"It could be worse, you could be both," Janna complained. "I mean, I love being part of two extremely powerful clans but it certainly cuts down on the number of partners."

"Try being part of the al'Thor, al'Vere and Cauthon clans, you have to get a bit creative when it comes to finding someone to have children with, especially when you're also related to Logain and Nynaeve," Valerie Cauthon complained.

"It's not that bad, you'll just have to drag some of the new recruits into the school and have your wicked way with them," Alice suggested.

"Don't be melodramatic, there are plenty of people in the village that you aren't related to," Jason argued. "I'd help if I wasn't related to Logain."

"And most of them are either taken, annoyingly straight laced or don't like having sex with girls," Valerie complained as she turned her attention to the attractive people having sex near the fountain.

"That's what alcohol is for," Janna offered.

Egwene shook her head. "That sounds more than a bit dishonest."

"As long as you make the agreement sober, it's not a big deal," Janna argued, not really looking forward to listening to her extended family give her a lecture on 'proper' behavior.

"Speaking of clans, can you give us directions?" Belle asked hopefully, looking forward to meeting her family since she'd only heard stories about them from their nannies and from the teachers.

"Sure," Mist replied as he gestured toward the massive towers they could see in the distance. "You can either walk about eight blocks or you can walk across the plaza and go up the stairs to the sky rails. They give you a fantastic view of the city and the surrounding area and it's faster than walking."

"Do the towers have enough space?" Janna asked, a bit worried that there wouldn't be room for her.

"Each of the towers is over a hundred stories and each story can handle twenty families comfortably. If we run out of room, we'll just build more towers," Mist assured them, not particularly worried about running out of room since they had plenty of towers thanks to Egwene's ability to pull metal out of the mountain and the Sand Hills that provided the massive amount of glass they needed for the towers.

"Just talk to the doorman, they'll get you set up," Egwene told them, making a note to tell her mother that she had more family. 'At least she's getting used to the idea that the city isn't part of Emond's Field and has different rules,' she mused, thinking about the first time that she'd visited and ran into some of the girls running around in less clothes than she'd been comfortable with.

"Thank you!" Janna replied as she hugged Egwene, looking forward to meeting everyone.

Egwene returned the hug. "We should probably swing by the tailor so that everyone can pick up some clothes."

"You're the best!" Janna replied, already tired of the cold.

"When are you planning on updating the loop?" Egwene asked Mist, wanting to make sure the children didn't vanish if something went wrong and they had to reset the loop.

"Give me five minutes to make sure the world isn't burning," Mist replied as he set the model of the school on the ground and pulled his crystal ball out of his inventory so he could make sure no one had decided to burn a couple of cities down while he wasn't looking.

"Let's go," Egwene said as she started walking toward the tailoring shop, having done the same song and dance dozens of times before.

Mist scowled when he finished scanning the next group of cultists and saw the description of the deranged lunatics he was going to have to get rid of. 'Cult of Lycaon, these delusional cultists use cursed magical rings to turn into uncontrollable werewolves and unleash bloody mayhem every full moon. The more intelligent creatures they kill, the more powerful the rings grow and the deeper they're lost in bloodlust while transformed. This unit can only be controlled until the first full moon.'

He glanced at the two young men that looked to be in their twenties then focused on the ring the grizzled old man was wearing and scanned it. 'So much for all of the cultists being harmless, even if I sent them to the Blight, they'd just turn around after the first full moon or join the Shadow because they're insane.'

Mist relaxed slightly when he finished scanning the ring and he realized that it was a cobbled together mess of enchantments and curses that he could use to make a better version. 'Cursed: weakness to silver while transformed. Ability to transform into a half human, half wolf form that has increased physical attributes and durability to everything other than silver and fire. Cursed: decreased mental attributes while transformed. Cursed: insanity and bloodlust while transformed. At least all of the curses are separate.'

Mist frowned when he saw the next enchantment on the ring. 'Blood Magic, there's a small chance of permanently increasing your magic capacity if you kill something that possesses magic while the user is transformed. Curse: Abyssal Mirror, doubles any effect that would corrupt or negatively influence the wearer while wearing the ring. Yeah, that's nasty and a good way to send people off the deep end. Cursed: Bloody Enchantment mutation, there's a small chance of increasing any enchantments or curses placed on the ring when you kill sentient creatures other than this enchantment, this enchantment is corruptive. Curse: forced transformation on the full moon.'

'That explains why they're insane,' Mist mused as he started scanning the ring that one of the younger men was wearing as Moria walked over.

"Any luck with your cultists?" Moria asked as she studied the wild looking men that were standing next to the wagon watching her like she was a tasty slab of meat on a grill.

"Less than I'd like and more than I was expecting," Mist admitted. "They're basically insane, they'll wander around and act like normal people until the full moon at which point they'll transform and turn into wolf-like monsters and go on a killing spree."

"Any reason to keep them alive?" Moria asked in a whisper, not seeing a point in letting them escape and hurt people.

"Not-" Mist changed what he'd been about to say as one of the younger ones transformed into a large wolf and dashed toward them, "Cut their hands off!"

Moria embraced the source and quickly cut their hands off with blades of air then grabbed the charging wolf with chains of hardened air as it lunged at her, stopping it when it was a foot from ripping her throat out. She took a step back as she split the flows and cut the cultists' heads off. She took a couple more steps back as she worked on hacking the wolf apart, something that was a lot harder than it should have been as it was regenerating. "This isn't working!"

"Try fire," Mist replied as he pulled up the scan that he'd just barely finished before the cultist transformed and looked at the enchantments and curses on the ring, trying to figure out if he had any weaknesses.

She dropped the blades of air and used a torrent of fire to burn the wolf to death, causing the wolf to transform back into a blackened humanoid corpse after using enough fire to reduce a solid metal door to a puddle. "Ashes."

"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust," Mist said absently as he used his power to deconstruct the corpse, causing it to vanish after a couple of seconds.

"Did you get anything interesting?" Moria asked, wondering if it was a complete waste.

"Three enchanted and cursed rings that you'd have to be insane to use. They basically cause the wearer to change into a beast during the full moon and drive them insane while giving them power. The rings also make every corruptive influence they run into worse which means using them is a quick path to insanity. On the upside, the rings are basically cobbled together so I should be able to make a version that isn't cursed."

"Let me guess, they also come with enhanced hearing?" Moria asked.

"Just the guy that transformed," Mist replied as he looked at the plain gold ring that was resting 'innocently' on the stone in front of them. "The old man's ring lets people turn into a half human, half wolf monster and gives the user a large boost to their physical abilities at the cost of your intelligence while transformed."

"Can I study the rings?" Moria asked, curious if she could learn something.

"Let me check the other ring first," Mist replied as he started scanning the third ring, wanting to make sure it wasn't cursed with something that would cause trouble just by touching it before anyone got near it.

"Fine," Moria agreed, not seeing a problem with being careful.

Mist checked the ring's details, not sure he'd ever actually use the enchantment that increased the user's ability to detect scents but fairly sure everyone would want the enchantment that boosted their night vision since that one came with protection from bright lights. "I don't see anything that should cause trouble just by delving it but you should probably wear gloves on the off chance that I missed something."

"Seems reasonable," Moria agreed as she watched Egwene leave the shop with the group of girls. "You should probably get rid of the corpses," she suggested as she used threads of air to collect the cursed rings. "Did they have any other magical gear?"

"Good question, let me check," Mist replied as he walked over and deconstructed the bodies, leaving their clothes and possessions.

"What happened?" Egwene asked as she walked over with the group of teenagers following her.

"This particular group of cultists were crazy and didn't have a problem using magical rings to turn into monsters on the full moon so they could go on a rampage," Mist explained as he scanned and deconstructed the old man's leather jacket, not seeing a point in keeping it since it was covered in blood, poorly crafted and wasn't enchanted.

"What are you going to do with the rings?" Alice Trakand asked, curious if she could learn something interesting. "I have my mother's talent for crafting ter'angreal and my mom's talent for figuring out what they do, if you need help."

Moria glanced at Egwene then focused on the attractive girl with red hair, easily recognizing certain features. "You have Mom's nose."

"So I've been told," Alice replied with a grin, looking forward to getting to know her sister and hearing all of the stories of growing up in an actual palace. "My name is Alice Trakand."

"Moria Trakand or al'Thor depending on your point of view," Moria replied with a grin. "Did you finish your ter'angreal training?"

"I passed every test with flying colors," Alice assured her.

Moria glanced at Mist. "What do you think?"

"You should be fine as long as you don't put them on," Mist replied as he finished scanning the rest of the cultists clothes, a touch annoyed but not surprised that they didn't have anything else that was enchanted.

Moria glanced over the collection of teenagers, recognizing familiar features. "In that case, I'd love some help. Can we borrow your workshop or are you going to keep making cultists?" she asked Mist.

"I was thinking about it but I could use a break and I need to make a better beast ring," Mist replied as he walked over and picked up the amethyst model of a tower on his way to the workshop.

Jason glanced between Egwene and Moria. "That's a yes, right?"

"That's a yes," Moria agreed as she followed Mist with a bounce in her steps.

"Yes!" Janna squealed as she chased after them.

Belle glanced toward the towers she could see in the distance then shrugged and followed Janna and Moria, figuring she might be able to score a ter'angreal if things worked out and her family would still be there when they finished tinkering.

"We need a method to get talents," Valerie grumbled as she followed the rest of the girls.

"It would be nice," Egwene agreed as she followed Valerie.
