Taylor and the Twisted Game Part 9
Added 2021-10-02 10:04:39 +0000 UTC"We got her!" a rather large, muscular and stupid looking human called out as the girl with blue fox ears and a fluffy blue tail that he was chasing darted into a deadend alley. He scowled when he ran around the corner and realized the fox girl had vanished into thin air. "Fucking rogues, spread out and start swinging, make sure she can't get away…" he trailed off when he noticed the two teenage girls making out in the shadows further into the alley, both dressed as naughty school girls with sheer shirts and blue and white skirts that barely covered anything.
One of the girls turned her head just enough to look at the group of five men that rushed into the alley then went back to kissing her partner as if they didn't matter.
"Hey bitches, where's the fox girl?" one of the men demanded as he leered at the busty half naked twins that looked perfect for their whorehouse.
The girl flipped the idiots off without looking, figuring that would piss them off more than tossing insults.
Sophia smirked as she slipped out of the shadows behind one of the thugs and hit him over the head with a blackjack, stunning him. 'This is way too easy.'
"Fuck it, grab the bitches," the leader snapped as he charged towards the girls, meaning to scare them.
"Demonic fusion!" the twin girls shouted as they mashed their breasts together and melted together into a large twelve foot tall shadowy demon complete with wings, four oversized breasts, fangs that dripped green ichor and jagged claws.
"What the fuck!" the leader sputtered as he tossed himself backwards as the obviously female and mutated demon swung at him with her claws.
"I will devour your soul!" the demon roared as one of the thugs zoned out and stopped moving.
Sophia glanced at the 'shadowy' and barely visible guy that was 'stealthily' picking the pocket of the man he'd just sapped then stepped forward and slit the throat of one of the thugs that wasn't sapped.
Admin scowled at the remaining thugs as she stepped out of the shadows holding a sword.
Sophia stabbed the next thug then stepped forward, reached down and cut the leader's throat. "Are we going to have a problem?" she asked, not sure what to expect from the demon.
The demon vanished as an attractive girl with pale skin, broad shoulders, generous breasts and wavy purple hair that came down to the bottom of her gym shorts appeared in the shadows. "Nope, I was showing Alec my illusions when the fox girl darted around the corner so I figured I'd see if I could scare them off or at least distract them so the fox girl could slip away."
Admin gave the girl a thumbs up.
"Are you done with the guy you sapped?" Sophia asked, looking at the barely visible guy.
"Yeah," Alec replied as he moved over to where Aisha was standing.
Sophia quickly slit the remaining thugs' throats then stuffed their bodies in her bag and shadow melded to lose the guards on the off chance that they were actually going to show up. "Nice trick with the demon."
"Thanks," Aiesha replied as she glanced between Sophia and Admin. 'Level 26 and level 20, they'd basically just have to sneeze and we're toast.'
Alec dropped his stealth and glanced between the strangers. "I don't suppose you have any suggestions on leveling fast?"
[What do you do for your host?] Admin asked as she studied the cape, curious if he'd be worth recruiting.
[Body control via nervous system familiarity], Hijack replied.
"That depends, how sane are you?" Sophia asked, glancing between the girl and the tall and athletic dark haired young man that looked like he just stepped out of a movie screen or a cologne ad.
"Compared to the lunatics running around town?" Alec asked sarcastically.
Sophia briefly considered making a sarcastic comment before realizing that she really didn't feel the need. "Are you willing to share the details on your friend's minions?"
Aisha held her hands up and 'conjured' a ball of black flame. "They're illusions."
Sophia turned to look at Aisha. "Power or skill?"
"It's a unique skill," Aisha replied as she let the illusion of the black flame vanish. "What's your deal?"
"We're running around with a brute." Sophia turned to look at the entrance to the alley when she heard the clash of steel. She stared at the level three knight that was holding off eight thugs for a couple of seconds then pulled her bow out of her inventory and started shooting the thugs, wishing she had a decent crossbow.
Alec turned to look at the fight and smirked when he realized that the thugs weren't players.
Chevalier quickly ran a thug through with his sword when the man inexplicably lost his knife then blocked a slash with his shield and ran the next thug through.
[Can I get some assistance for my host?] Overlay asked hopefully.
[Of course] Admin replied as she pulled her wand out of her inventory and sent a stream of cold at the nearest thug, causing his joints to lock up long enough for Chevalier to run him through with his sword.
Sophia grinned as she activated her multishot ability and killed the rest of the low leveled thugs.
Chevalier turned to look at the group of people that had helped him, trying not to react to the fact that two of them were capes. "Thanks, I was in the middle of killing a thug for a quest when an asshole shot a group of them then vanished, leaving them looking at me."
"Which quest?" Alec asked as he walked over and looted the body of the man he'd disarmed.
Chevalier frowned slightly when he saw bits and pieces of the man's trigger event. "Destroy the Gangs, it's basically a quest to destroy twenty thugs from each section of the city to remove the gangs."
Sophia frowned when she realized she'd never heard of that quest. "Where did you get that?"
"From Mathias Shaw in the barracks," Chevalier replied as he started looting the thugs.
"Sounds fun," Sophia mused, wishing she'd noticed the quest when she was the appropriate level.
"I'm not sure fun is the word I'd use considering the thugs scale to my level but at least the reward is useful," Chevalier admitted as he finished looting the thugs.
"If you need help, I'm willing to help," Aisha offered, figuring it was a good chance to make some friends and get experience without getting ganked by going outside.
Chevalier glanced at Alec. "I wouldn't object to help."
[What do you currently do for your host?] Admin asked, wondering if he was worth recruiting to help Taylor.
[I help him with his gear], Overlay replied smugly as she sent over a data package.
[Useful] Admin replied as she conjured a white corset and a pen and started writing a message, "He's a cape, recruit him."
[I could take you in a fight], Phase cut in.
Sophia glanced at Admin's message then looked at Chevalier. "Hero or villain?"
[I think Phase has system damage, can you fix it?] Overlay asked.
[Bring it!] Phase taunted.
[Diagnostic mode] Admin cut in, sending the command codes for Phase to run a self diagnostic.
Chevalier glanced at Admin, fairly sure she wasn't a cape or at least he couldn't see anything around her. "Hero, how did you know?"
Admin wrote, "I can hear shards."
"What did mine say?" Chevalier asked, curious if she was telling the truth.
Admin wrote, "She explained that you could temporarily combine items."
"Anything else?" Chevalier asked, hoping she didn't know about the other aspect of his powers.
[Anything else you want to share?] Admin asked.
[Nope] Overlay replied.
[Okay.] Admin shook her head.
Alec raised an eyebrow. "Does that work on any cape?"
Admin gave Alec a thumbs up.
Sophia glanced between Alec and Aisha. "Let me guess, you're a cape?"
"Yeah, I can cause people to twitch," Alec admitted. "It's not exactly a top tier ability."
[Liar] Hijack grumbled.
"Villain or hero?" Sophia asked suspiciously.
Alec shrugged. "Currently? I'm just a guy that's trapped in a simulation that is trying to keep his friend's little sister from getting into trouble so he doesn't kill me when I get out."
Admin wrote her question down then showed the group. "Do you need to make a call?"
"You have a phone that can call out of the simulation?" Chevalier asked.
Sophia smirked as she pointed at Admin. "She can summon someone that does."
"That would be fantastic," Chevalier admitted.
Admin focused and started summoning Taylor. [Incoming summons, if you're free, we ran into a hero that needs to use your phone, he can combine items temporarily.]
Alec glanced at Aisha. 'I should probably call Lisa's burner so she can let Brian know I didn't walk off with his sister.'
'Let's see if this works.' Taylor focused and summoned Admin then accepted the summons, appearing in an alley with Stalker and Admin as well as a group of people she didn't know. "Admin said you could use a phone."
Admin gave Taylor a thumbs up then waved at the rest of the people and accepted the summons, reappearing on the cliff with Amy and Missy. [You can summon me back when you're done, I haven't grabbed my skills yet.]
"That would be appreciated," Chevalier replied as he studied the short blue skinned teenager wearing a matching set of leather armor that looked professionally made.
Taylor pulled her phone out of her inventory and handed it to him. "Dragon's cell is the first number and the Bay's PRT is the next. If you need to reach Armsmaster he should be at the mansion with Dragon."
"How did you get stuck here if you're a hero?" Alec asked.
"I logged in to play with a new combat simulator and I ended up stuck in here, at least the world is similar to Warcraft," Chevalier explained as he selected Dragon's number and hit the call button.
"How did you get so many levels?" Aisha asked Taylor.
Taylor glanced at the group of twelve people walking their way that looked like a mix of vikings and orcs or trolls. "I get experience for defeating players. What do you want?"
The leader of the group laughed. "Your money or your women."
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Chevalier asked.
"Nothing, if you attack us, the guards are going to kill you, maybe we'll drop one of you, maybe we won't, either way, you're screwed," the man taunted.
Taylor charged into the middle of the group and cast her frost nova spell to freeze the thugs in place then cast her arcane explosion spell, causing an explosion of arcane energy that finished off the group. She pulled an invisibility potion out of her inventory and drank it, causing her to quickly vanish from view.
Sophia conjured a leash as she walked over to the nearest thug. "You'd think they'd check our levels before starting shit."
"You'd think," Alec agreed, making a mental note not to piss the mage off.
"Skitter?" Dragon asked after the third ring.
"It's Chevalier," Chevalier replied, speaking up because he could hear something striking metal in the background. "I'm borrowing a girl's phone."
"A blue skinned teenager?" Dragon asked as she walked away from the workshop so she could hear the conversation.
"Yes," Chevalier replied as the blue skinned girl reappeared. "How is Halberd doing?"
"He's working on a pair of goggles, how long have you been stuck in the simulation?" Dragon asked as she walked through the gate to the garden.
"A couple of hours, I logged into a fight simulator and ended up in this twisted world," he explained as he watched the elf and the blue skinned girl secure the thugs. "Any idea how many capes got captured?"
"More than I'd like, are you going to apologize to Myrddin about magic being real?"
"He's the sceptic, I'm the believer," Chevalier replied, going with one of the stupid code phrases that Colin had come up with if he needed to prove his identity.
"Sorry, I had to check," Dragon apologized.
"I understand," he replied, glad that she'd checked as it gave him a bit more confidence that he was actually talking to Dragon.
Dragon sighed. "I don't have a full list but we have at least three villains from Brockton Bay, a rogue from a detention center, at least twelve Protectorate heroes from various branches and Armsmaster, Director Piggot and most of the wards in Brockton Bay were pulled in when a project went sideways."
"How's he doing?" he asked, knowing Colin would be beating himself up about the failed experiment.
"He's focused on trying to rebuild his armor but I suspect that he'll be running around hunting monsters as soon as he finishes getting a decent suit of armor finished. What did you end up taking for your class and profession?" Dragon asked.
"Taking? I got dropped into the world with Eldritch Defender, blacksmithing and enchanting, did you get to pick your classes and professions?"
"Some of my perks were random but I got to pick my class and professions," Dragon replied as she headed back through the gate now that the banging had stopped. "What did you have to trade Skitter to use her phone?"
"Nothing, her fox eared friend wrote that I was a cape then Skitter appeared and handed me a phone," he explained. "Any idea how she knew I was a cape?"
"Not really, I haven't had a chance to sit down and talk with Skitter or Admin all that much, you'll probably have a chance if you come visit, we're staying with her," Dragon admitted as she walked over to where Colin was watching her. "Do you want to talk to Armsmaster?"
"Sure," Chevalier replied, hoping Colin could shed some light on things.
Dragon handed Colin the phone. "It's Chevalier."
"How are you doing?" Colin asked, hoping his friend wasn't having too many problems.
"I've been better," Chevalier admitted. "I've got some basic armor and a halfway decent sword but nothing particularly impressive and there are a lot of assholes running around."
"Where did you get dropped?" Colin asked, curious where he'd run into Skitter.
"The mage tower in Stormwind, I've been running around the city clearing out thugs for a quest for the last couple of hours," Chevalier replied as he watched Skitter stick blindfolds on a couple of the prisoners. "Is there somewhere we can drop prisoners?"
"Not yet," Colin complained. "We can't steal their equipment and hearthstones will let them escape from just about anywhere."
"That's annoying. Where do you want to meet up after I finish my quest?" Chevalier asked.
"How long will it take you to finish the quest?" Colin asked.
"At least twenty minutes, assuming I don't run into more trouble, I need to kill another eight thugs in the Mage Quarter then turn the quest in," Chevalier replied.
"Ask Skitter if she has another pair of teleporting shorts," Colin suggested.
"You're Skitter, right?" Chevalier asked, looking at Taylor.
Taylor looked up from sticking a harness on one of the thugs. "Yeah, what's up?"
"Armsmaster wanted to know if you had another pair of teleporting shorts," Chevalier admitted, hoping his friend wasn't working on his sense of humor.
Taylor glanced at Alec and Aisha then focused on Chevalier. "I have an extra pair, does that mean you know Armsmaster?"
"Yeah, I'm Chevalier," Chevalier replied.
'That explains why Admin said he could combine things,' Taylor mused as she pulled a pair of shorts out of her inventory and tossed them to Chevalier. "These should let you teleport to my mansion in Darkshire when you finish your quest."
"We're going to kill you when we get out of here," one of the thugs shouted.
Sophia kicked the man in his overly large balls, causing him to scream and curl up. "We should have started with a gag."
Chevalier shook his head. "Are you sure you're a hero?"
"What did she do?" Colin asked.
Sophia snorted. "You try dealing with the assholes for a couple of hours."
"One of Skitter's friends was letting one of the thugs know that actions have consequences, I'll see you in thirty minutes to an hour, Armsmaster," Chevalier said.
"Stay safe," Colin replied then ended the call.
"I should probably check in with Armsmaster when we're done with the Shadowfang run that Noelle wants to do," Sophia admitted.
"You're running a dungeon, can we come?" Aisha asked.
Sophia studied the illusionist for a couple of seconds then smirked when she realized she'd make hunting the idiots around town a lot easier. "We'll have to boost your levels but Noelle would probably love having an illusionist in the guild."
"No reason we can't head to the mansion when we're done with the run," Taylor agreed as she started tossing the 'dead' players into her bag. "Let's head to the warlock trainer, I'll summon Admin so she can pick up her summoning spell. We should be able to kill the thugs on the way and get you a couple of levels before you head to Darkshire."
Aisha grinned as she pictured sneaking through a dungeon and blowing things up. "This is going to rock."
"Sounds better than getting attacked by myself," Chevalier admitted as he watched the girls toss the bodies into their bags of holding. "What are you going to do with the bodies?"
"They'll wake up in a couple of minutes, Amelia and I get experience for sticking bondage gear on players which means we can probably get a decent boost and drop them somewhere interesting before their defeat timer runs out," Taylor explained.
Chevalier sighed. "Normally I'd have to protest but Armsmaster already mentioned a distinct lack of jails."
Taylor finished collecting the bodies then headed out of the alley, finding it more than a little surreal about helping a major hero.

"What the hell?" Dean sputtered when he walked into the lounge to find Dennis and saw the half naked red haired and green eyed maid standing on the table trying to reach the chandelier with a feather duster. 'Damn, she's almost as hot as Vicky.'
"Relax, she's just dusting," Dennis replied, not taking his eyes off the girl's butt as her skirt had inched up as she stretched, giving him an excellent view.
The girl smiled at Dean then went back to cleaning. "I want everything sparkling before the boss gets back."
"Shouldn't you be wearing a shirt?" Dean asked, trying not to stare at her generous breasts that were on display and failing as his willpower didn't seem to be up to the task.
Ezra flipped Dean off. "Don't complain, I like the view."
The maid stuck her tongue out at Dean. "We don't have an official uniform."
Dennis glanced at Dean for a brief second then focused on the maid. "Did you need something?"
Dean pulled his attention away from the maid and looked at Dennis for a second. "Dragon wanted me to let everyone know that we'd be having a meeting in forty minutes to an hour when Chevalier gets here."
"Thanks for letting me know," Dennis replied.
"Plenty of time," the maid said and hopped down from the table, causing her breasts to bounce in a way that drew the eyes of everyone in the room. "Now that I've finished dusting, does anyone want to fuck me silly before your meeting?"
Ezra grinned as she glanced between Dennis and the maid. "What do you think, threesome?"
"What?" Dean sputtered as he took a step back in surprise.
"A girl has needs…" the maid trailed off as Dean turned and bolted out of the door.
Dennis covered his mouth so Dean wouldn't hear him laughing until he got his laughter under control.
"Too much?" Ezra asked in a whisper once the door closed.
"That was perfect," Dennis replied with amusement.
The maid smiled at Dennis. "If I wasn't busy and promised to the boss, I'd chain you to a chair and have my wicked way with you."
"Promises, promises," Dennis replied with a grin as the maid left through the other doorway. 'It's probably just as well I didn't take the lady killer perk, they're already crazy.'
"Do you have everything you need for my spirit tattoo?" Ezra asked, rather amused by his sense of humor, especially if it meant she got 'free' magical tattoos for helping him prank his friends.
"I have enough for a couple, where do you want it?" Dennis asked as he stood up so she could sprawl on the couch.
"I'm sure we can come up with something," Ezra replied with a grin as she stood up and dropped her dress into her inventory, leaving her in a pair of panties.
"Most likely," Dennis replied as he appreciated the view, glad that he'd picked up a professional's level of skill with art and tattoos from the game.
