Reluctant Villainy Part 19
Added 2021-06-12 06:35:11 +0000 UTC'You're wrong Anakin, they're smart enough to understand, they just don't care,' Myst's duplicate mused as he walked over to the group of Tusken Raiders that were sneaking towards a moisture farm. "Which makes it worse," he muttered as he started tossing stunning spells at the raiders.
"What do you think you'll accomplish hunting the natives?" Revan asked as she watched the last of the thirteen raiders fall to the ground.
"Considering they were planning on killing any males they found and raping the women for sport, I'm dealing with the worst bits of their religion by making sure the idiots don't come back," he replied as he pulled the mask off one of the raiders, licked his finger, placed it on the man's vaguely cat like face and used his Conversion ability to give the raider a copy of his Projection power.
Revan shook her head. "You'll never catch enough of them."
"Considering I can open portals through time and I'm a precog, I'm fairly sure I can destroy enough of them to get them to change, either that or they'll be dead and I won't care," he replied he swapped to the next raider and converted him to something useful.
"They've been that way for thousands of years, they don't want to change," Revan pointed out.
"All things considered, I don't care," he replied as he continued converting the aliens.
Revan frowned slightly as the aliens Myst touched went from barely there in the force to feeling like pale reflections of Myst. "I'm not saying you're wrong about things needing to change but it's going to take a lot more than a couple of dead raiding groups to fix the problem."
Myst's duplicate scowled as he thought about the aliens taking potshots at the pod racers in the first prequel movie. "Do you have a suggestion?"
Revan shrugged. "You mentioned the huts control a decent percentage of the planet, if you want the raiders dead, just stage an attack on the huts, they'll take care of it."
"Could work," he said thoughtfully as he finished converting the last of the aliens into something slightly more useful. He flipped the 'switch' on his Power Overload ability for his Heartless ability then conjured a blaster and walked around shooting the aliens to boost his Projection ability.
"Could you do the same thing with the Force?" Revan asked thoughtfully.
Myst's duplicate laughed. "I could but I'm not going to, you already killed at least fifty Sith Lords, that should be more than enough power."
"Fair enough," Revan admitted, still not sure how she felt about his abilities or the fact that she felt stronger and more stable than she'd felt since the Emperor captured her. "How long are you going to stick around to help with the child's training?"
"Just long enough for you to hit him a couple of times with force lightning and various other nasty techniques so he can build up an immunity," he replied as he finished killing the last of the raiders.
"Fair enough," Revan admitted, wishing she could duplicate his strange powers.
"That reminds me, we should work on Padme's defenses." Myst's duplicate opened a portal to Padme's room a couple of hours later when she was sleeping and hit her with a stunning spell, wanting to make sure she stayed unconscious.
"Padme?" Revan asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Future love interest of the kid you're going to be training," he replied as he used his Kingmaker ability to give her a copy of the Power Hub power. He unlocked his Regeneration and Adaptation so she could copy them then floated her off her bed and into the air. "Go ahead and hit her with force lightning, just don't put everything into the first blast."
Revan raised her hand and sent a weak stream of force lightning through the portal into the girl, causing her to thrash for a couple of seconds before the lightning washed over her without any effect. She increased the amount of lightning then swapped to trying to choke her which worked for a couple of seconds. "Anything else?"
"Mental influence?" Myst's duplicate asked as he swapped his Creation ability for a power that replicated a blaster.
"Sleep," Revan suggested as she pushed against the girl's sleeping mind, trying to get her to fall into a deeper and more restful sleep.
"Works," he mused as he used his new power to blow Padme's hand off.
"What the fuck!" Raven snapped.
"Oops," Myst's duplicate muttered as he watched her hand grow back. "I might have used a bit too much energy."
Revan took a breath and let it out. "You're lucky she's asleep or she'd probably have nightmares."
"No shit," he replied as he shot Padme in the leg, rather happy when it merely left a burn mark on her pajamas. "Now the real test." He shot her in the leg with his conjured blaster, leaving another burn mark on her pajamas but not doing any damage to her skin. "I wasn't sure if that was actually going to work."
Revan shook her head. "She's going to have a bunch of questions if she ever gets shot."
"Better than being dead," Myst's duplicate replied with a grin as he used Projection to clean up the mess from Padme's hand and repair her pajamas. He lowered her back to her bed and tucked her in with Telekinesis then closed the portal. He used his Clairvoyance to scan the future for the best hutt to assassinate.
"Speaking of being dead, are you giving me any resources?" Revan asked.
"That depends, do you want to run a salvage yard?" Myst's duplicate asked, not seeing a point in keeping Watto around.
"That could work but I'll need some assistants if you want me to have enough time to properly train the kid," Revan pointed out.
"I happen to know a scientist and engineer that would be perfect," he mused as he orbed the raiders and most of their weapons to a particularly loathsome hutt's bedroom then opened a portal and blasted the hutt in the eye several times with his 'blaster' power. He picked up the slug throwers he hadn't teleported and worked on filling the hutt full of holes, wanting to make it appear at least halfway authentic as the raiders mostly used the slug throwers.
"Anyone I know?" Revan asked once Myst ran out of ammo and closed the portal.
"Nope, just a couple of Kryptonians," Myst's duplicate replied as he used his Clairvoyance to find the right time to grab Jor-El and Lara-El and copy Clark and Kara.

Mione pulled her attention away from the table where Siuan was having a silent discussion with Moiraine, Verin and Leane and focused on Myst. "Do we have an actual plan?"
"Not really," Myst admitted. "This world is connected to Willow's world which means we don't have to worry about cleansing the source, just cleaning up the Blight and Shadar Logoth."
"What about the Seanchan?" Mione asked.
Myst sighed. "No clue, I could steal all of the channelers and shatter the crystal throne and I doubt the culture would change all that much, it would still be based on slavery and their twisted ideas of what passes for honor and I don't feel like mind wiping an entire continent to fix it which is probably what it would take."
Mione raised an eyebrow. "Ethical reasons or are you just being lazy?"
"A bit of both," Myst admitted. "It's hard to care when the people are twisted and don't see anything wrong with the situation. I'm willing to rescue the channelers because they're treated like animals and because they're dangerous and give the Seanchan an unfair advantage, the rest of the idiots, not so much."
"Speaking of slaves, we should probably use the tokens," Mione mused as she pulled her token out of her watch's inventory.
"Probably," Myst agreed as he looked through his inventory.
Mione used her token, releasing a naked purple haired girl that looked like a taller and younger version of herself with purple eyes. "Huh."
"Mistress!" the girl squealed as she bounced forward and pulled Mione into a hug.
Myst pulled his own token out and released his 'prize', not particularly surprised that his prize looked identical to Mione's prize except she had blue hair.
"Hey boss," the blue haired girl said cheerfully as she watched her twin hug Mione.
"Names?" Myst asked.
"I'm Ella, my twin is Bella," the blue haired girl replied.
"Welcome to the team," Myst offered. "That's assuming you want to be part of the team."
"Of course," Bella replied cheerfully as she sat in Mione's lap, wiggling around to get comfortable.
"We're here to kick ass, fuck cute girls and get spanked," Ella said playfully.
Myst used his telepathy and took a quick look through the twin's minds, wanting to make sure they weren't more trouble than they were worth. 'Okay, they're twisted copies of the other Hermione's twins from a possible future, I can deal with that.' He glanced over at Siuan who was giving him an annoyed look then focused on Ella. "Do you want better talents and more training?"
"Of course," Ella replied with a giggle. "We're your wrecking crew, the more talents and magic we have the more people we can fuck up."
"Can we go shopping for collars?" Bella asked hopefully as she moved Mione's hand to her left breast.
"Collars?" Mione asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We're your pets, pets get collars," Bella pouted, "unless you don't love us."
"What type do you want?" Mione asked as she ran her fingers over Bella's breast, thinking about some of the more screwed up strippers she'd known. 'Now I just have to figure out how to get them to accept a generous 'allowance' so Hermione doesn't kill me.'
"Sparkly ones," Bella replied without hesitation.
Myst conjured a pair of sparkly clear plastic collars that would stretch and or break if someone yanked on them and tossed them to the girls. "Here."
"You're the best," Ella replied as she put her collar on.
"I might as well test the other one." Myst pulled the demon's token out of his inventory and used it, causing a red haired busty teenage girl to appear wearing black cargo shorts and a t-shirt that said, 'Touching the goods without permission will result in evisceration and worse!'
The red haired demon smiled at Myst. "Hey boss, nice disguise."
"Thanks," Myst replied as he studied the attractive demon with shoulder length hair and dragon-like green eyes. "What should I call you?"
"Salem works," the demon replied with a grin. "Do you need me to make a supply run or are you just introducing everyone?"
"A bit of both. Mione, Ella and Bella," Myst said as he gestured towards the girls in turn. "How much do spell books normally run?"
"It depends on the quality of spells and the original author," Salem replied with a shrug. "Anywhere from a couple of gold coins for a copy of a well known book to entire kingdoms for first edition copies of some of the more impressive books."
"Can't they just make copies?" Myst asked.
Salem shook her head. "Most of the more impressive books are warded against copying."
"Fair enough. Ignoring slaves and souls, what's the best type of currency? Gold, magic items or magic powers?" Myst asked, not sure how the market worked.
"Ignoring souls and slaves, magical powers generally fetch a decent price though most merchants aren't opposed to trading magical items or gems of sufficient quality. Gold is only really traded by some of the less connected merchants," Salem explained.
"Why don't they trade gold?" Ella asked.
"When you can open a portal to the elemental planes and mine gold with summoned help, it loses some of it's value," Salem replied with a shrug. "Of course, it has certain intrinsic properties so it's not completely worthless, just less valuable than a well crafted magical item or certain types of electronics."
"Makes sense," Myst agreed as he conjured a shopping list and handed it to Salem, figuring some of the less human looking demons would have trouble walking into a store and buying the latest video game or household appliance, especially if they lived in a fantasy world.
"Viable steampunk construction manuals or examples, gems of exceptional quality, defensive gear, magical methods of power generation and spellbooks," Salem mused as she looked over his list. "I should be able to get everything on the list assuming you have something worth trading."
Myst used his Creation power to make a basket filled with a collection of nicely labeled magical power spheres. "Does this count?" he asked as he handed her the basket.
"Absolutely," Salem replied with a grin. "Do you want me to grab everything quickly or take my time and get higher quality items?"
Myst glanced at the group of Aes Sedai that were staring at the new girls. "How much of a difference is there?"
"A couple of hours, versus a couple of days," Salem replied with a shrug. "I should have most of it by this afternoon but some of the merchants only show up at night or in the morning."
Myst shook his head. "I'm not in a hurry."
"In that case, I'll see you later," Salem replied, then teleported to the demonic market to do some trading and socializing.
"Speaking of powers, which talents are you offering?" Ella asked excitedly.
"Everything I have for channeling and wand magic," Myst replied as he used his Kingmaker power to give Ella the Copycat ability. "We should probably make sure no one else can copy your abilities if we're going to give you a bunch of magic."
"Sounds good," Ella agreed.
Myst dialed his Out of Context ability down so that he could copy his abilities and powers then unlocked his Power Copying, wand magic, channeling ability and various talents so she could copy them. "That should let you copy my Power Copying and protection from having your powers copied." He used his Skill Management power to give her skill to use the Power Copying ability. "Feel free to copy everything you can."
"You're the best boss!" Ella replied as she reached out, touched his face with her fingertips and pulled up her new power copying menu.
"Can I have a copy?" Bella asked hopefully.
"You'll have to ask Mione," Myst replied as he checked Ella's collection of new powers with his power sense. 'That should keep everyone other than me from copying their abilities.'
"Hey boss, can I get more powers?" Bella asked hopefully.
"Of course," Mione assured her.
Myst added his 'People can Sometimes Surprise You' perk to the list of things she could copy so that people would be less inclined to flip out over their lack of clothes then added 'A World to Explore' for perfect memory to the list. "Two more powers then you should be good."
"Thank you," Ella replied as she copied the new powers.
Myst used his Kingmaker ability to remove her Copycat ability then gave Bella the ability. "You'll have to get off Mione's lap and walk over here, it's a range thing."
"Sure," Bella said as she slipped off Mione's lap and bounced over.
Ella smiled as she quickly stole Bella's spot in Mione's lap. "Mine!"
Bella stuck her tongue out at her twin then smiled at Myst. "What do I need to do?"
'At least nothing is ever borning,' Mione mused as she watched Bella.
"Just copy my powers." Myst held his hand out and used his Skill Management ability to give her the skill to use the Power Copying ability.
Bella grabbed Myst's hand, opened her menu and quickly copied his available powers. "Thank you."
"You're welcome," Myst replied as he used his Kingmaker ability to give Mione the Copycat ability. "Mione, you should probably grab some of the extra abilities so you can't have your powers copied…" he trailed off as a portal opened and he saw his slightly disconnected clone standing next to a couple of familiar looking people in a desert. "What's up?"
Myst's duplicate glanced between Ella, Bella and Mione then walked through the portal. "Anakin and Revan left on another adventure so we figured it was a good time to check in. Let me introduce Kal-El, Kara Zor-El and Lena Luthor."
'Weird, Clark looks like the one from Smallville while Kara and Lena look like they're from Supergirl if a bit younger than they were in the first season,' Myst mused as he scanned Lena and the two Kryptonians. 'Huh, I think that's the first time I've ever seen Kal end up as a scientist and Lena has a nice collection of abilities.' He shook his head when he realized he'd been drifting. "Sorry, welcome to Manetheren."
"Thanks," Lena replied with a smile as she followed Kara through the portal. "I was getting tired of the bounty hunters wrecking projects and taking hostages."
"Bounty hunters?" Myst asked with a raised eyebrow as the portal closed behind Kal.
"Lara and Jor organized a slave revolt, the hutts weren't particularly impressed or understanding," Myst's duplicate replied. "They've been escalating which is the other reason we decided to sell the business to some of our less than nice competitors and leave."
"In other words, they're going to trash the shop?" Myst asked, not sure how Kryptonians and Star Wars fit together.
"Pretty much," Myst's duplicate agreed as he gave his Projection power to Myst.
Myst stared at his duplicate in surprise as his Projection ability grew by leaps and bounds. 'How many fucking people did you kill?' he asked his duplicate with telepathy.
'Do bounty hunters and Tusken Raiders count as people?' Myst's duplicate asked.
'That bad?' Myst asked, avoiding giving an honest answer to the question.
'I'm reasonably sure I didn't kill anyone that didn't deserve it but you should probably avoid that particular version of Star Wars, the guild doesn't like us,' Myst's duplicate admitted.
"Lovely, do you have any more surprises?" Myst asked.
"I relocated all of the people that couldn't channel on our version of the Land of the Madmen to a different version where they can get their lives together and I've been stealing channelers from that version for the last twenty years so they should be less insane," Myst's duplicate replied with a grin as he pulled an entire stack of blueprints out of his inventory and set them on the table.
"Where did you stick the channelers?" Mione asked warily.
"On the island," Myst's duplicate replied as he used his telepathy to share memories of a string of birthday and holiday parties with Myst followed by stretches of working on various projects with Anakin, Kal, Kara and Lena as they grew up, mostly because they were the only bits of the last two years that he really wanted someone to remember. He certainly didn't want to remember the various twisted crimes most of the senators were guilty of, nor the sheer number of politicians he'd murdered in a futile attempt to deal with the worst of the corruption in the Republic. "I'm reasonably sure I fixed everyone's sanity, more or less."
Lena shook her head, thinking about the people they'd met that had tried to kill them. "I'm pretty sure most of them need a couple of years of therapy."
"Probably," Myst's duplicate agreed, fairly sure copious amounts of telepathic surgery was the only reason most of the channelers were even halfway functional.
"How many channelers are on the island?" Myst asked, wondering how many people his duplicate had managed to recruit and what he'd left out of his memories.
"I might have gotten carried away," Myst's duplicate admitted.
"Carried away?" Mione asked as she glanced between Myst and his duplicate.
"I spent a year dealing with bounty hunters and corrupt politicians, every time I needed a vacation I created a town and cloned the original ten thousand then mixed in clones from some of the other Willow's future projects to make sure they had enough genetic diversity to thrive," Myst's duplicate replied, not seeing a point in mentioning the fact that he'd used his copy of the Fusion Toad to mix the mostly blank clones together into something more interesting.
"In other words, lots?" Myst asked, knowing he'd have gone a bit nuts if he'd been forced to play nice with the various politicians in Star Wars.
"Pretty much," Myst's duplicate replied as he pulled several aerial photos out of his watch's inventory and spread them out on the table. "Most of the villages are set up near the water so they have access to fish or in sheltered valleys with hot springs because of the island's proximity to the south pole."
Mione quickly finished counting the dots in the photos. "You made thirty seven towns?"
"Thirty nine," Myst's duplicate replied with a grin as he took his watch off and set it on the table. "Which means there are close to half a million channelers on the island that are loyal to Myst. Long live the king."
"Half a million…" Myst trailed off as his duplicate dismissed himself, causing his channeling and various other magical powers to drastically increase as he absorbed all of the power and talents his duplicate had managed to acquire via power copying and less acceptable methods.
"Don't worry, he's always vanishing," Kara offered. "He'll turn up eventually."
'More or less,' Myst thought, glad that he had most if not all of his duplicate's memories of his time with Lena and the Kryptonians as they were pretty decent people if a bit on the perverted side thanks to being clones. "On that note, how long are you staying?"
Lena shrugged. "At least a month, we need some time to unwind before we head back to Earth and meet our counterparts."
"Sounds good." Myst picked up his duplicate's watch and dropped it in his pocket then glanced over at the group of Aes Sedai heading their way. "Shit, we should probably leave," he muttered under his breath.
Siuan pointed at Kal as she stalked over. "Why can your friend channel saidar?"
"I could spin you a story about him being from a mirror world but I'm guessing it's just a weird mutation or a fluke," Myst explained.
"I can assure you, he's male," Lena offered with a grin.
Kal smiled at Lena. "Thanks."
"Why are the girls as strong…" Siuan trailed off when she realized Myst's strength in the power had increased. "How did you get stronger?"
"I survived the Dungeon of Tears," Myst lied, already thinking about ways to create a dungeon filled with magic using goblins that people could fight for more power. 'If I make a bracelet that gives people my Heartless ability they could grind a decent amount or maybe just a dungeon field that gives everyone the ability while they're in the dungeon.'
