Taylor Hebert Dungeon Girl Part 38

Amy sighed as Gothic vanished around the corner with the Undersiders on their way to hunt the giant rabbits. “Hopefully Gothic can keep them out of trouble.”
Noelle pulled her attention off the wooden sign pointing toward the lightning valley and focused on Amy. “They did fine in Winslow.”
“Besides, Rachel has her dogs,” Taylor reminded Amy as she reached into her pocket and pulled out the magical necklace that had been burning a hole in her pocket since Victoria had handed it to her. “Let’s hope our transformations don’t look completely stupid.”
Victoria snickered. “If nothing else, it should be amusing.”
Noelle smiled as she thought about the crazy new skills she could pick up if she played her cards right.
“Only one way to find out,” Amy said as she put her magical tiara on then flipped the slightly disturbing mental switch she could ‘feel’. She blinked as hundreds or possibly thousands of motes of light appeared around her as Ride of the Valkyries started playing from somewhere close by. She shivered and almost fell over as her skin, muscles and bones painlessly twisted and stretched at the same time her costume changed color, texture, weight and form. “What the hell?”
Taylor blinked as the motes of light vanished, leaving Amy looking like a near perfect copy of Victoria in her New Wave outfit. “Yeah, Victory Girl my ass…”
Victoria’s gaze dropped down to Amy’s chest. “E cups? I’m not sure if I should complain or go buy a second tiara.”
Amy resisted the urge to tell her sister to buy a Tiara and did her best to ignore the little voice in her head that was gleefully suggesting taking a bunch of naughty selfies for Gothic as she studied ‘her’ overly large breasts. “You should probably talk to Carol about the game.”
“It’s on the list,” Victoria agreed as she glanced at Taylor. “Your turn.”
“Here goes nothing,” Taylor said absently as she put her necklace on then turned so that she sort of had her back to Noelle without being overly obvious, just in case the transformation hid her mask. She flipped the mental switch then twitched as she was surrounded by purple almost black flames for a second before they vanished leaving her dressed in a long sleeved disturbingly sheer purple dress that barely made it to her mid thighs. “What the hell?”
Amy grinned as she let her gaze dance over Taylor’s new ‘costume’ which was actually dark enough around her breasts and crotch to function as clothing, if you squinted and didn’t go anywhere in public. “Gothic is going to want a copy.”
“Probably,” Taylor agreed as she reached up and touched her mask to reassure herself that it was there even though she could feel it.
“It could be worse,” Victoria said with amusement. She wouldn’t mind a copy for clubbing though she was fairly sure her mother would kill her if she caught her in something like Taylor’s dress.
Noelle glanced at Neverland’s mask as she turned back to face the group. “Is the rest of your armor still equipped?”
“Let me check,” Taylor replied as she opened her equipment page and checked her defenses. “Yeah, they’re still functional.” She tapped her foot on the ground. “They’re both there and not, it’s weird.”
Amy pulled her attention off Taylor’s breasts. “Best of both worlds I guess.”
“Now the real question, can you fly?” Noelle asked hopefully.
Taylor jumped and sort of hovered in place at the top of her jump for a second then dropped to the ground. “That might be a fluke.” She jumped as hard as she could and focused on hovering.
Victoria snickered as Taylor floated sideways at the top of her jump. “It certainly did something.”
Taylor lurched upwards then awkwardly slammed into the ground, rather happy that her safe fall ring kept her from getting hurt. She grinned as an experience bar appeared for her new flight skill and creeped up a sliver. “This might actually work.”
Noelle shook her head. “Change of plans, you shouldn’t try the tar pits until you can control your flight.”
“Point,” Amy agreed as she started running toward the lightning valley. “Let’s go!” She jumped as high as she could and tried to sort of glide.
Victoria shook her head as she floated after her sister, rather glad Taylor wasn’t filming Amy making a fool out of herself considering her current appearance. “Let’s start clearing cats.”
“Sure,” Noelle agreed as she picked up the pace, easily keeping up with the fliers.

Gothic grinned as she watched Rachel’s massive lizard like dogs chase a couple horned rabbits. “At least the dogs are having fun.”
“Do you think she’ll let us keep the guns?” Alec asked hopefully as he shot a rabbit near the edge of the clearing with his cold pistol.
Brian twitched as five giant rabbits jumped out of the forest and charged with the rabbit that Alec had shot. “Shit.”
“Don’t worry, I’ve got this,” Alec replied as he shot the lead rabbit between the eyes which caused the rabbit to tumble.
“Depends on how well you behave,” Gothic said as she worked on shooting the group of giant horned rabbits charging them.
Brian brought his fire pistol up and started shooting at the rabbits as best he could. It was a little annoying that Alec could shoot them in the eyes at 30 yards while he was lucky to hit them.
“Brutus switch!” Rachel called out as she pointed at the group of rabbits charging them.
Alec frowned slightly as Rachel’s giant dog looked at Rachel then charged the group of rabbits they’d been shooting at. “That’s one way to do it,” he muttered as he glanced over at Lisa who was skinning one of the rabbits they’d killed earlier. “Anything interesting?”
“Meat, fur, and ivory horns,” Lisa replied as she packed the ‘loot’ in the expanded bag Gothic had let her borrow. “What does she use the horns for?”
“Mostly decoration on sword hilts or handles for the pistols,” Gothic replied as she shot the rabbit that was fleeing Brutus.
Brian did his best to ignore the crunching sounds of the dogs killing the rabbits as he turned and looked at the section of the clearing that still had rabbits in it. “Do you want a hand Lisa or should we kill the rest of them first?”
“Are you still getting leatherworking experience for it?” Lisa asked as she moved to the next rabbit corpse.
“Not enough to matter,” Brian said as he turned his attention back to Rachel’s dog as it walked over and dropped a dead rabbit at Rachel’s feet.
“Good boy,” Rachel said as she reached up and patted Brutus’ shoulder.
Rachel grabbed her skinning knife off her belt and went to work on the rabbit. “We’re going to need a freezer.”
“I’ll call Player One,” Gothic said as pulled her phone out of her pocket and called Randal.
“That works,” Lisa agreed, happy to work with a team that wasn’t overly concerned about money.
Randal picked up after the second ring. “What’s up?”
“We’re running the leatherworking dungeon, we sort of need a freezer for the dog treats.”
“Ah, I’ll pick up a large deep freeze on the way. We can stick it in the corner of the shop and keep ice cream and other snacks in it when they’re done with it.”
“Sounds like a plan,” Gothic agreed.
Randal glanced at the clock. “I’ll be leaving in eight minutes, provided I don’t have any last minute customers. I’ll probably be there in thirty or forty minutes unless there’s a line at the store. Do you need anything else while I’m shopping?”
“M&Ms?” Gothic asked hopefully.
Randal laughed. “Sure, I’ll grab some. See you in a bit.”
Gothic ended the call then stuck her phone back in her pocket. “He’ll be here in like thirty to forty minutes with a large freezer.”
“Thanks,” Rachel replied as she directed Brutus toward another group of rabbits.
“You’re welcome. It’s a good investment, considering we run this dungeon a decent amount.”
“What do you normally do with all the leather?” Brian asked as the group started making their way toward the other side of the clearing to get the rest of the rabbits.
Gothic grinned. “We’ve been stockpiling it for the most part but we have a really nice pattern for boots of speed that I think you’ll like.”
“Boots of speed?” Brian asked in disbelief. “Is that why your team was moving so fast in the fight against Hookwolf?”
“Pretty much,” Gothic admitted as she lined up her next shot.
“That’s complete bullshit, you know that right?” Lisa asked as she followed the group.
“Which part?” Gothic asked with amusement as she started shooting one of the remaining rabbits with her fire pistol.
“The part where Neverland can basically turn people into low level Tinkers…” she trailed off as she connected the dots. “It’s not just low level stuff is it?”
“You’d need access to her dungeons to make anything really game breaking but you’re right, her power is pretty neat.”
“And you’re just going to give us the pattern?” Brian asked in disbelief as Alec finished off the rabbit Gothic had been shooting at.
Gothic shrugged. “Why not? Without access to the exotic resources in the dungeons I doubt you’d be able to do much more than double someone’s running speed and jumping ability. Don’t get me wrong, being able to turn normal leather into bullet resistant armor and make boots that turn people into low end movers is neat but most of the gangs have guns that would cut right through anything you could make out of normal leather.”
Alec smirked slightly as he realized why she didn’t care. “In other words, even if we sold the enhanced boots to villains, you could just sell the PRT better versions?”
“Pretty much,” Gothic agreed as she picked a new target and started shooting it. “I’d rather you didn’t sell the boots to irredeemable villains but it’s worth the risk.”
“Don’t worry, we’re not planning on selling anything to villains,” Brian assured her.
“At least not without running it by you or Neverland,” Alec agreed, knowing they’d probably run into a halfway decent villain or two along the way that could use some help.
“Works for me,” Gothic agreed as she went back to shooting rabbits.

Amy pulled her attention off her friend’s barely covered behind when she realized that she’d drifted a foot closer to Taylor without meaning to. “That dress is distracting.”
“Yet surprisingly comfortable once you get past the fact that it’s nearly see through,” Taylor replied as she worked on turning in place without spinning like a top.
Amy grinned as Taylor spun a bit too fast and her dress lifted up giving her a peek at her bare behind. “It’s probably just as well the guys aren’t here.”
Taylor giggled as she stopped spinning instantly and her flight experience bar increased by a sliver. “Yeah, I’d rather not have my costume recorded before I fix it.”
“I don’t blame you though Gothic is going to want pictures,” Amy pointed out as she floated back a foot. “Speaking of pictures, you should try flying upside down.”
Taylor laughed. “You’re as bad as Gothic.”
Amy stuck her tongue out at Taylor then turned her attention toward Vicky and Noelle when the sky flashed and thunder rolled over her. “Boss time.”
Taylor pointed her hand at the white tiger with glowing blue stripes and sent a ball of white light at it then dropped as the tiger looked at her, roared and swiped a paw at her which sent a wave of lightning charged wind at her. She shivered as compressed air and lightning ripped through where she’d been floating a second before. “Shit!”
Amy winced slightly as Vicky took several blasts of lightning at once as Noelle crashed into the tiger boss. She winced as the fight turned into a rather undignified slugfest as Noelle did her best to beat the tiger to death while it tried to bite and claw her. She lurched backwards a half step as Noelle managed to rip the boss’s front leg off much to the creature’s displeasure if the repeated lightning strikes and anguished screeches were any indication.
Victoria was just glad that her shield had recharged as she pushed through a spherical blast of air centered on the boss. She lunged forward and hit the tiger as hard as she could in the temple.
Taylor winced as the tiger’s health bar dropped to a sliver and the tiger started glowing. “Run!”
Victoria twisted and jumped/flew away from the boss as fast as she could, not wanting to be within thirty feet of the boss when it exploded.
Noelle turned and ran when she noticed the tiger was glowing, not even needing the warning.
Taylor winced as the boss’s death attack exploded in a blast of wind and lightning that rolled over the ground like an inferno. She shivered as she looked at the thirty foot circle of destruction around the dead tiger. “I still think that attack is bullshit.”
“Yep,” Amy agreed as they floated down to check out what was in the chest the mini boss had dropped.
Victoria scowled as she looked at the destruction. “Nasty bastard.”
Amy landed near the dead boss as Noelle walked over. “Are you okay?”
Noelle shook her head. “You’re talking but I can’t hear you, give me a second.”
“We really need to get her some hearing protection,” Taylor said as she walked over to the chest to take a look at their loot.
Noelle relaxed as her regeneration repaired her eardrums. “Okay, what did you say?”
“I just asked if you were okay,” Amy said, fairly sure that Noelle was fine given her regeneration.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” Noelle replied as she glanced at the treasure chest. “What’s the protocol for opening treasure chests?”
Amy snickered. “We normally have Player One check them for traps but since he’s not here, we can use Vicky.”
Victoria playfully flipped her sister off. “Fine, step back.” She waited for people to take a couple steps back then opened the lid and looked inside. “Huh, that’s new.” She reached into the chest and grabbed a carved wooden tiger mask and a bracelet made out of twisted silver wires then handed them to Taylor. “Do your thing.”
Taylor glanced at the tooltips. “The bracelet summons and dismisses a baby tiger pet and the mask allows you to see in the dark.”
“You’re breaking the mask, right?” Victoria asked hopefully.
“Sadly,” Taylor muttered as she opened her enchanting menu and dropped the rather nice looking wooden mask in the salvage box. She hit accept then smiled as she got a night vision enchant that should let see in the dark as well as she could in the day. “This should let us see in the dark without the goggles.”
“That should help with the ninja dungeon,” Amy agreed.
“Ninja dungeon?” Noelle asked with amusement.
“It’s based on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles knockoff,” Taylor admitted.
“Were the ninja like the old comics or the show?” Noelle asked, trying to figure out how dangerous they were.
Amy sighed. “They are actually competent for the most part.”
“Ouch,” Noelle muttered, thinking about the old comics where the turtles actually stabbed people and the ninja were an actual threat rather than a joke.
“Pretty much,” Amy muttered as she looked at her watch. She looked up at Taylor. “Do you want to press on or wait for the guys?”
Taylor glanced down at her breasts which were on a bit more display than she really wanted Alec or Brian to see, to say nothing of her behind. “I should probably fix my costume before they get here.”
Amy snickered. “I doubt you’d have to hit Alec more than two or three times with lightning before he’d keep his mouth shut.”
“Six at most,” Victoria offered half joking.
“I’d rather avoid that,” Taylor replied as she pulled the model sized cloak out of her pocket then tossed the upgrade item in her salvage box. “Here goes nothing.”
Amy crossed her fingers. “Let’s hope it works.”
Taylor hit the salvage button then grinned as she looked at her new patterns. “Neat, I can do the rose enchant and make a token that can upgrade the magic girl costume which should help if we need to fix some of the more messed up costumes from the Barbie dungeon.”
“Considering your dress needs shorts or a swimsuit or something to make it more than technically maybe legal if you don’t stretch, that’s probably a good idea,” Noelle agreed.
“Pretty much,” Taylor agreed as she selected her new upgrade enchant. She looked over her various clothing options then selected her pattern for comfortable silk panties and added shadow dye. She smiled at the image of a pair of black panties surrounded by shadows floating in her display window. “Should I go with black or purple panties?”
“I’d go with black, they’ll draw more attention,” Victoria suggested ‘helpfully’.
Amy snickered, knowing Taylor would go with the purple.
“Right, purple it is,” Taylor replied as she added a couple gummi berries in an attempt to get the right shade of purple to go with her dress.
Amy jumped slightly as her phone vibrated in her pocket. She grabbed her phone and glanced at the caller ID then answered it. “What’s up?”
“We’ve got a bit of a problem,” Randal said as he glared at an unrepentant Vista.
“What’s that?” Amy asked wearily.
“I caught a snoop looking through the windows in the garage, she saw the door. I think we’re going to have to toss her to the Sarlacc.”
“Toss who?” Amy asked warily.
“Vista,” Randal grumbled.
“Are you trying to kill a Sarlacc?” Amy asked with amusement.
“Maybe,” Randal replied, a touch of amusement creeping into his voice.
Vista said, “I wasn’t snooping, I stopped by to say thank you for the hoverboard and got curious when the lights were on and no one was around, so I sort of bent space and looked, which is when I found the interesting glowing door and Player One tried to give me a heart attack by sneaking up on me.”
Amy had to resist the urge to laugh. “That’s not very nice, Player One.”
Randel said, “It’s not my fault she didn’t hear me walk across the gravel yard. It’s called situational awareness.” Sure he’d been sneaking and he was really good at it but she still should have been paying more attention.
Vista sighed. “Fine, you caught me investigating to make sure nothing untoward was going on, now can you tell me why you have a portal?”
“What makes you think we have a portal?”
“Hypothetically speaking, rocks don’t disappear when they go through holograms.”
Amy sighed. “Hand her the phone.”
Randal handed Vista his phone. “Here.”
Vista took the phone. “Yes?”
“Hypothetically, what would it take to convince you that it was in your best interest to leave the existence of any possible portal like objects out of any official reports?” Amy asked, trying not to laugh at the situation.
“Hypothetically, I wouldn’t have to report it if I knew it was stable and didn’t go anywhere it shouldn’t.”
“You just want to see where the portal goes, don’t you?” Amy replied with amusement.
“Wouldn’t you?” Vista asked hoping she could convince Panacea to let her in on the secret.
“Probably,” Amy agreed. “Okay, hand the phone back to Player One.”
Vista handed the phone back to Randal. “Here.”
“I’ll talk to Neverland and we’ll make our way back to the entrance. Give us a couple of minutes.”
“Sure, no problem, Vista can help me move the freezer.”
“Okay, sure,” Amy replied then ended the call. “So yeah, we need to make sure everyone is wearing their masks and then we can give Vista a tour.”
“Any reason we’re not just pretending she didn’t see shit?” Taylor asked, having heard most of the conversation.
Amy shrugged. “It’s Vista, she knows how to keep her mouth shut and I’d feel a lot better if she was wearing actual armor under her costume.”
“If you think she’ll keep her mouth shut, let’s show her around,” Taylor agreed a touch reluctantly.
“I’ll tell the others,” Victoria said as she flew back toward the entrance of the valley.
“Thanks,” Taylor called out as she managed to get her panties the right shade of purple. ‘That should do it.’ She pushed the accept button then selected a penny as the physical token because she had one in her pocket and it didn’t actually have to be related to the item you were upgrading. She hit accept to start enchanting her token.
“Isn’t Vista like 13?” Noelle asked, trying to remember what she’d heard about the local wards. “We should probably start her on the rats rather than the cats or the cute little bunnies.”
Amy laughed. “It’s Vista, once she realizes this place isn’t real, she’ll be gleefully slaughtering everything, especially cute things.”
“Issues?” Noelle asked.
“Not really, she’s just a lot scarier and way more competent than people give her credit for. She has the most experience of any of the current wards and she’s the youngest, which the people in charge never let her forget.”
“Ah, their loss, our gain,” Noelle agreed.
Taylor smiled as she looked at the tooltip for her new upgrade token then used it. “Much better.”
Amy grinned slightly as she looked at Taylor’s crotch and saw the purple panty shaped shadows that made it look like Taylor was wearing a swimming suit under her dress which wasn’t actually a bad look all things considered. “We’ll just have to come back for the rest of the dungeon.”
“I’m looking forward to it,” Noelle agreed as they headed back toward the entrance.
