Writer's Block is Annoying

I've been having trouble working on my Alex story, I'm currently rereading it, I should have more in a couple of days. However, while I've been trying to sweet talk my muse into writing on Alex's story... I've been working on another story. The first part of the vague self insert was published on Space Battles so you'd not being charged for it. I'll stick a nice link to it so that the people that haven't seen it can read it.

My usual amount of words a chapter is far less but this is sort of a weird self insert and I feel guilty for having writer's block on my main story for far longer than I should thus enjoy the story.
