Almost done texturing the new girl

Now that I am in the mostly content creation phase of the development. I'm trying to decide the most efficient way to knock out the rest of the game. Once the character is created it takes a good couple of days to get back into integrating the new character with the game and remembering to hook up all the physics, bones, setup etc. There are lots of scripts and special settings that need to be implemented per character per scene. It took a good while to get Charlie working, and even in the most recent release it is not the fully working version.

Good news is I have Charlie just about setup completely in the version I am working on.

So what AM I working on then? I think the fastest way I can get new content out is to work on the characters all in one go. As I have been messing with Blender for a while now on this new character Komi, I have familiarized myself with all the tools and the sculpting workflow. All her blendshapes for her mouth and facial expressions are done, and now I am moving onto the texturing process. What I have in these photos is just the rough simple texture I plan on adding a lot more detail and such in the next few days. I think rather than spending time working on importing this new character right away I am going to go ahead and model out the 4th girl as well. I think this will go faster than jumping back and forth to Unity and remembering how to set everything up all over again.

Im really happy with the progress so far and Look forward to knocking this texturing out soon. Perhaps I will also do her outfits and Charlie's alternative outfit too. We'll see and I'll keep you updated!
