I know that I am late to the game, however, I am a recent subscriber and am getting caught up on old videos. Bruno Mars and Cardi B both responded via Twitter to BTS singing their song on Carpool Karaoke. Very cool reaction from both of them. Cardi B basically saying that she’s out of a job now because of RM and J-Hope! She even refers to them as “Joon and Hobi”! True; they totally cut away from the front of the car to focus on Jin/Suga - I mean, what Jin said has gone into the BTS meme lexicon. And did anybody notice JK constantly putting his hand up/down during that entire exchange between RM/Corden? You gotta pay attention to the chaos in the back, always.

Yes, much as I like Stephen Colbert's show, he was a bit smart-ass with the guys (the "Make It Right" episode and they also did a Beatle-type performance with "Boy With Luv" since it was the Ed Sullivan Theater). I mean, when he asked what was their favorite Beatles song, J-Hope immediately started singing "Hey, Jude" and the band started playing - that was super cool! But Colbert's comeback was unnecessary. Jin was super sweet with his inter-play and saved the day.

I love how James asked the stereotypical question in a joking manner. BTS is always asked questions like "can I be the 8th member?" or "how did you learn English?" but James managed to ask those questions in joking way and use them as segways to songs or the next bit.

Suddenly one day the ARMYs agreed to say what they think they think and feel, that's where the thing about not liking their nickname came from. As well as Jin "omma" and V "Alien" ... But the truth is that I have been ARMYs since 2013 and I never saw them complain or say anything about it. The only one who said he did not like his nickname was Jhope regarding "-jHorse" .. When he said that the ARMYs went into "let's not say nicknames to anybody" mode .. But you see how it worked for them to believe the ones they know what they think, Jimin is fine with his nickname and V even included it in a song .. So ...

....no, Tony didnt give him the name. Tony gave him the name ChimChim and Jimin still uses it to this day. I haven't seen Jimin say he doesnt like the nickname mochi. I know he had eating disorders and mochi is associated with his chubby cheeks, but i can't recall him ever saying he disliked it. I feel like fans just agreed not to use it since it does deal with his weight. But he seemed fine with it here, probably because he has grown more comfortable in his body and weight.

thanks so much for making this video public for everyone! and nico, when you said you wanted to be in that car, i felt it. literally just strap me to the roof rack and let me peek in through the sunroof, that's all i would even need😂 and if you google a picture of "mochi" you'll see it's a little snack cake that looks very round and soft and fluffy - when bts first debuted, jimin was still a teenager and he was very baby-faced, with these big ol' adorable chipmunk cheeks, so fans started calling him mochi (or, since mochi is a japanese word, "manggaetteok," which is basically korean for the same thing). it was used pretty often back in the day to describe idols that seemed really cute and squishable, but it really took off with jimin. of course jimin hated his cheeks lol, so as you can imagine he didn't really like the nickname either, which is why he reacted like he did💜

They've been on James three times and Jimmy Fallon twice, they are comfortable with those two hosts, they host them the best, and it really shows. And they've done segments with both that isn't just about them asking the same tired ass questions. They play games with them and try to really bond with the boys.

I am not a fan of Post Malone either, but I did like his song Circles and it's played on the radio stations I listen to a lot (when I actually listen to radio). So when they sang it, I was happy because I wasn't expecting it! I believe the boys met him at Time Square on New Year's Eve. I think they performed right before he did with Ryan Seacrest.

I seriously loved this Carpool episode! James Corden always does right by them when he has them on the show and you can tell he’s genuine and they always have fun! BTS ironically doesn't seem to understand the power they hold in regards to consumer sales sometimes. Several times Jungkook has accidentally mentioned a product he likes to use or another member will show/wear a particular product and ARMY will purchase these products to the point where they will be on back order for several months XD. Jungkook in particular has done it more often. One example I can site is that Jungkook had posted a tweet that he was sad because his favorite fabric softener from Downy was sold out. When ARMY found out the name of the product it was sold out for two months. Another example is that Jungkook was doing a V-Live and was drinking a particular wine where I think he either mentioned the name during the Live or showed the bottle. That particular bottle of wine was sold out and the winery in charge of that particular wine were so confused as to why so many people were ordering it LOL.

I love seeing these boys have so much fun when they are in the US and are actually treated like any other western artist. James Corden and Jimmy Fallon are the two talk shows they have been on the most and every time they are treated with respect and dignity. You can tell BTS enjoy interacting with them and feel at ease being themselves around them. I had never heard the Post Malone "Circles" song before but it sounded like such a jam! ^_^

RM who doesn't drive joking about traffic. Corden drives unless there is a safety issue like when he is interviewing 7 people. He addressed it during a monologue because some peeps tweeted that they saw the car being towed. He listed the 7 or 8 times he didn't drive verses all the others. Also, Nico is so J-Hope as a dance teacher these days.

James x BTS is the TRUTH!!!!!! James is truly the MVP of variety hosts when it comes to hosting the boys. Hobi and Taehyung said during a livestream that they have never felt more relaxed and at ease during a TV filming than they did with James and that they love being on his show. They've done his show three times now, more than any other American program iirc. It's just fantastic seeing their relationship. Jimmy Fallon also treats them <i>really</i> well and their shows with him are also always wonderful. I know Fallon gets a lot of shit for being fake or whatever, but he is very genuine with the boys imo and they have real fun with him as well. They've done his show only twice, but Jimmy also had the opportunity to remotely present the Album of the Year award to BTS at the 2019 MAMA ceremony, where they won all 4 daesangs (top-level awards/grand prizes).
