Btw sorry if our spoiling on Diamond affected your expectations or attitude towards an eventual redemption and how it might play out. But in any case, what do you think of the kind of antagonist who'd be an unrepentant jerk to the end? How about one who might be willing to repent (and with whom you might be ready to sympathize), but only after she's been knocked down a few pegs, run down to the end of herself, her pride and reputation shattered, and nowhere else to go? (Kinda like Sunset Shimmer in the EG movie really.) Like, we'll see you get your just desserts, and then we'll see you crawl your way up from rock-bottom and hopefully by that time you'll have learned something and you'll be a better Pony from now on. 😎

Your reaction to Apple Bloom "getting her cutie mark" was priceless. Sorry, but I don't remember the last time I laughed this hard and for this long. XD At least this "I will remember this moment" thing for Diamond Tiara was also a dream, so I guess you don't need to remember it after all.

(Formerly Kevin) Ok, a couple of interesting points. . . Firstly, because of all of our speculation, fanfics and philosophizing since the early days, we kept waiting and waiting and WAITING for them to come to the realization that just because they got Cutie marks doesn't mean they can't be a Crusader, but they can continue helping the others get theirs too (regardless of whether it's part of the cutiemark purpose). And they never did [realize]... [in that way]... 😐 Secondly, if Applebloom had thought back to the events of The Cutie Pox and her time with those fake cutiemarks, she'd have reason not to fret, and remember that her friends and family didn't treat her ill because of it. With the initial two marks, she certainly liked them and what she was doing with them, with those tricks she was pulling off; her friends were ecstatic about them (and didn't even think of kicking her out of the club); and her family didn't mind at all that the marks weren't apple-related. Indeed an impactful episode, and now we have had all three Crusaders dream dreams and met Luna! Though I must say, the first time the shadow appeared, I thought it was Starlight Glimmer that somehow invaded dreams to spread her anti-cutiemark propaganda. I mean, the shadow certainly was talking like that, and making her mark disappear like that, and the theme of the season thus far... Can you blame me??😅

Oh boy, thanks for reading my comment! This is a fun one, completing the trilogy of Cutie Mark Crusader Dream Episodes. It was fun seeing all the fakeouts, and having the CMC's confront the potential of actually getting their cutie marks. You know, before it actually happens someday. Eventually. Perchance.

hahahaha Your reaction when the first cutie mark appeared...! xD Sorry, still gotta wait a bit for the real one! One cute detail I remember from this episode is the stuff on the table when Apple Bloom walks in every 'morning', starting out kinda reasonable and getting more and more over-the-top with every new dream: First apples and pancakes, then elaborate pancakes, muffins, and lemons, then a FULL ON CAKE, dog biscuits, a punch bowl with fish swimming inside... and there are other little hints too, like in the second dream, she looks out the window and a rooster lays an egg on the sill right in front of her!
