As you might saw already, we released the first gameplay teaser on our social channels. The gameplay was captured in real-time in Unreal Engine 5 with the demonstration of some of the game's mechanics.

If you have any questions about the teaser- please ask! We are happy to answer.

(In advance: PS5 Xbox- we would love to release ILL on these platforms, but it is too early to tell in detail. Release date- sorry, we can not share this information, the team has its own deadlines, but we don't want to advertise dates, at least not for now. )

Your best bet is to just release on PC first. Like make the game first and then port it over. Less consumption of resources to the final product, less stress on your smaller team trying to make essentially 3 versions of the game, and more time to polish for each platform once it’s out. I can honestly wait especially since I’m getting a PC myself. Can’t wait for ILL this is honestly so cool and you guys are amazing and honestly awe inspiring. You people have made me want to become a developer as well. Right now Im retaking a lot of math classes and earning my computer science degree and experimenting a lot on Unreal 5 when my laptop lets me. Keep up the great work you guys I believe in you.

Full body awareness is I can look down and see my characters torso/feet. Some games that have it are FEAR, prey 2017, the riddick games by starbreeze, thief 3 etc. should have specified earlier sorry. :)

By "Full Body Awareness" what do you mean exactly? We will try to keep UI on the screen to the minimum

This trailer has this vibe to it that is unlike any trailer I've seen and I think it's because of how many concepts we've seen. And how uniquely foreboding they all are. It's like, damn, that way down to the dome is gonna be crazy and I cannot wait to experience that! Keep up the amazing work!

And I must ask, you say that you guys might end up putting it on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series console if things work out, correct? My main way to play is the PlayStation 5 and I feel it would be right at home on the console!

Тизер впечатляет, но есть такой вопрос. Будет ли какая-нибудь интересная перезарядка оружия в игре. Например главный герой очень взволнован и случайно роняет патрон при перезарядке дробовика, когда на него нападает или бьёт противник, или если рядом с главным героем есть враги он начинает перезаряжаться быстрее, чем если врагов рядом нет. У вас были подобные идеи ?

Btw, is the limb damage system more akin to Left4Dead2's damage modelling system, or something procedural like Blood Trail?

I can see why the condemned comparisons are being made - and it's great that they're in reference to the atmosphere, since that was probably the series' strongest point (arguably making up for some of the jank in other areas)

Hello, thank you. Since we moved to UE5 we are testing lots of new things. The game runs smoothly, but you always have to be careful with adding stuff. The engine is very young and we are learning a lot as we go

Hey! Well, basically, we would hire a company to port our game on the platforms. Should be no problem, except money. But again, once we have a solid playable part- I would not worry about that

overall feeling yes, investigations...rather not. I tried to play Condemned yesterday, finally. But yeah, laggy as hell on the modern PC. Will check it out more on youtube

There will be some problem-solving sets of tasks that the player has to do, but we never thought of the type of puzzles that you see in games like RE and Silent Hill

great attention to prop detail and speculars. A thick layer of dust to cover the furniture and floors would round it up for me. That kind of hole in the ceiling would have certainly done that to the environment. How much room is there for shaders still before it is getting too much?

Hey Max 👋🏻 what kind of hurdles are you facing in regards to ps5 & Xbox ports. I am unfamiliar with how the industry works. I just started backing the project last night under the impression this would be developed with consoles in mind. I hope you can shed some light on what makes console ports a challenge.

Hello Bryan. The soundtrack is in the process of finding its language. There must be sort of dark/cursed themes, but beautiful in a way. We are happy to get Lorn on our side, the man is a genius, so there are big chance that the OST will be amazing.

A good part of the feel/experience of what I've seen so far is the music/sound effects, or maybe I should say at this early stage, the "feel" of what has been presented by your group so far in the audio realm. I like the gritty and visceral sounds and the almost sub-harmonic pumping/thumping music choices. How much are we hearing now that is just place-holder audio? I have to admit that I still like the "Mongrel" music track used in the "germ" video on Oleg Vdovenko's YouTube channel. I know that track was actually licensed for another party to use, but will there be similar music in iLL's future? Anyway, I don't want you to think that's all that I like about what's happening here. I love the visual look and feel, as well! I just happen to be an audio/hifi guy, so I really tune into music and sound effects in movies/TV/games. Curious if you all have some music that is, I guess, inspirational that you could share? 😎

Absolutely loved this trailer. I wished it was longer, but the environments, animations and voice acting were incredible! I can't wait to see more. Please don't worry about release dates, platform etc, it may be good to be reminded that many people don't understand how much goes into games development. One thing I'd like to ask is, with your experience in previous animations etc, do you think a rubber chicken could be used as a reusable stealth object for luring enemies. I think having that weird scream would really intensify the gameplay, and would also be an iconic/meme like addition to an arsenal 😂

Are destructible environments still planned?

The work you are doing is pretty groundbreaking. Im so excited for the graphic gore, dismemberment and realistic death animations that have been missing from games.

Will it be a singleplayer only game or also have a multiplayer part? Or maybe coop?

Do you guys still anticipate being able to have limb damage as a feature similar to what we saw in previous videos?

Honestly, we don't care WHEN it comes out, as long as it does come out. And that when it does come out, it is in a working, playable state. Just keep us updated once in a while to keep our appetites satiated.
