It's been quite a long time since I was in HS, but I was taking an AP European History class Senior Year and got a C on my first test. I was, and still am, a super geek and had never gotten anything lower than a B on a test before. I freaked out as I hadn't really needed to study intensively up until that point. That is when I started to study exactly like this! Helped out for college to realize that for sure :)
