new album information!
Added 2023-08-11 00:52:34 +0000 UTChello. im making a new album, i have some information to share with you today, as i will on social media at another time.
currently, this is where the new album is at:
- all 11 songs have been written, named, and 95% of all the instruments have been recorded.
- all 11 songs are a mix of indie, rock and metal. there are zero full edm synth-focused songs.
- elva and odorata are included in the album, and have been remixed.
- no vocals have been recorded yet. this will happen once i am done recording the instruments for the last couple songs.
FAQ time
"when will the album release?"
ideally this winter. aiming for february 2024.
"any other plans to go along with the album?"
yes. i want to shoot a music video for the upcoming track "supernova". this will depend on who is available locally, and under those circumstances if no one is, then i probably won't shoot the video.
"does that mean there will be a single this year?"
very likely, yes. i plan on releasing two of the songs before album release.
"aren't you burnt out lol?"
meh. next year i intend to take unpaid leave from my actual job for about 3-6 months so that i can breathe a bit more, explore old hobbies and live while i am alive. no burn out here.
thank you for coming to my tedtalk. i am happy with how things are going for the album, as i put a lot of focus in ensuring the quality is improved time and time again. it's an ongoing issue of mine, to overmix my music and having it sound like total ass.
