MOB OF THE DEAD - FIRST TRAILER 17/05/24
Added 2024-05-17 17:00:09 +0000 UTCThe edit for the first mob of the dead trailer is just about finished! Just a few more shots I need to clean up and get ready before it's complete! Chromastone10, who created the trailers for Call of the Dead, wasn't available this time around as he now works for Raven Software meaning I've decided to take on the task of preparing the trailers myself! This is my first time editing together a video (other than basic moviemaker edits lol) and I'm really quite proud of how it's turning out so far, it's a little bit janky here and there but hopefully that can be forgiven! There will be at least 2 trailers for Mob of the Dead, similarly to how we did Call of the Dead's release with a Shot for Shot remake for the reveal and a completely original piece for the gameplay trailer! I'd also like to do a second original trailer for the release but we'll have to see how it goes for now!
That's pretty much it, just a little update on the progress of the first trailer! I may have some exciting news for you all once the marketing season starts for this map! You can ponder what that may be in the meantime lol

I really liked your hard work and detailings but there are some missing details i would like to share with you. Some of them are "just opinions and suggestions". I hope you like my ideas and suggestions. 1-MORE CANDLES AND BLOODS AROUND THE MAP : The title says it all. 2-AFTERLIFE FIRST PERSON HANDS MODEL NEEDS MORE EFFECTS: Adding smoke was a really good idea but there are no smoke effects above elbows. You should add smoke effects there too. 3-WEASEL'S BLOODSTAIN ON THE ROOF : When i was watching your plane takeoff video, i noticed there are no weasel's bloodstains on the roof which hurts the storyline in my opinion. You should add "detailed bloodstains" on the roof for good backstory leftovers. (Blood stain location is in front of the hut door on the roof.) 4-DYNAMIC WEATHER TEXTURE AND MORE REALISTIC WATER ANIMATION : The sea texture and animation from blood of the dead was perfect. And the weather has 3d clouds floating around and lightnings too. You should do the exact same. 5-AFTERLIFE MODE PASSING THROUGH THE PORTALS : I noticed when you pass the portals while in afterlife , it feels like your passing through 2d object which has no effects, you should add more smoke around the portals and some visual effects when you go inside the portal. 6-MORE DETAILED ISLAND : The view of the island from the golden gate bridge was perfect idea and it looks fantastic but i noticed the places from blood of the dead has no details and some places are even missing. It would be very great if you add more details EVEN some easter eggs about blood of the dead places. (jumpscare maybe lol) 7-LESS GLOSSY FIRST PERSON HANDS MODEL AND THIRD PERSON MODEL : Title says it all. 8-THE WEASELS FACE IS WAY DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL : I just noticed the weasel has no facial hair and face expressions are way different.
