MOB OF THE DEAD - TIMELAPSE 29/03/24
Added 2024-03-29 18:00:06 +0000 UTCThis week I've been working on finishing off the mapping in various parts of the prison, here's a timelapse of me starting work on one of the zombie barriers in the showers as well as working on a bit of lighting in the cafeteria / showers area!

I've also been working on a few areas towards the top of the prison, mainly rooms in the Infirmary and the stairwell leading to the roof. The exteriour of the prison is also now finished including all the vista to the north of the island (the areas I was working on in my last timelapse!) Still to do is the bottom of the mines (where you pick up the rigging for the plane) and the areas accessible with afterlife. Once these are finished the main bulk of the mapping is done and out of the way, then I can start detailing the map as a whole and go around area to area just really polishing everything up and making sure it all looks as good as it possibly can before marketing starts. I'm still not completely happy with the showers area, I'd like to redo the textures I've used for the walls as I just don't think they look all that good especially when compared to the rest of the prison, I may do this next week!
The scripting side of the map is now all done, there's still a few things I need to polish up here and there but the map is completely functional start to finish, with every single feature of the original map in!

2024-03-29 18:25:50 +0000 UTCOh yeah for sure! The idea randomly came to my head earlier and thought "I wonder what he would think of it?" And yeah, I can understand not using AI. Wouldn't feel realistic enough lol. Anyhoo, keep up the great work! I'll be sure to try it out asap once it releases!

2024-03-29 18:20:17 +0000 UTCI'm not sure it would really make all that much sense on mob as it kinda stands outside the rest of the main story, if I can think of a way to tie it all in then I'll do it for sure! I'd get a voice actor for it though, not a big fan of using AI for stuff like that lol

2024-03-29 18:17:15 +0000 UTCOoo BTW have you ever thought about maybe adding a custom Dr. Monty radio like the other Chronicles maps to make it seem more like a chronicles map? Maybe someone else to voice him of if needed, an ai voice?
