MOB OF THE DEAD - TIMELAPSE 23/02/24

This week I've been doing a bit of work on some of the vista elements of the map, here's a timelapse of me working on an area outside the map, near the docks.

This timelapse doesn't show me finishing off the area unfortunately as I had to go out, I will be finishing it off this weekend though! I still need to do the windows on the other side of that small building I started towards the end, and detail up the pathways around all these buildings as they look quite barebones at the moment. These areas don't need to be particularly high detail as there's no way the player can get close enough to make out any real details, so it shouldn't take too long to get it up to par with the rest of the island. There's still quite a lot of vista that needs modelling on the north side of the island, where you spawn in Blood of the Dead, as well as the New Industries building which I will be doing in a timelapse too within the next few weeks!

The map is really starting to come together now, with most of the core features in and the map playing well, I think within the next month or two the map will be in a good enough position to start on the marketing for it! I've already written the script for the trailer and I can't wait to see it come to fruition! Things are looking good!
