Dev Log 1/7/2023: Happy New Years!

First of all, Thank you all so much! Been meaning to say something, Surpassed $1,000 a month a week or so ago. and I can't thank you all enough. We are really happy to have your support.
With the support here, sales on itch, The little bit I get from Subscribestar because I keep forgetting I even have that (I prefer Patreon over SS, I like the platform better.) The stress of me quieting my job to do this is going away.
and I can officially say WE now. Will do a formal introduction here soon.
2. I am sick. again. or still. not sure. I had gotten mostly better, but then like last Saturday, It got pretty bad. So I have taken some time off this week, not really by choice, more or less the migraines, cold/hot flashes, and insomnia made it impossible to work. I think I had something like 3 hours of sleep between Saturday and Wednesday this past week.
Feeling better now though.
3. Hardware failure that kind of worked out in my favor. Years ago I picked up this really nice 21" Professional Color accurate LG monitor that I had used as my primary monitor for years. Last night since I was feeling better, sat down at my computer, woke it up. monitor stays on for 2 seconds then shuts back off. Shit... I work on 3 monitors so I just removed it for the time being so I could work last night.
Today, I went to wally world to get a something cheep until I could order me a comparable monitor. When I get back to the electronics department, Im told this pretty funny story about this guy who tried to steal a monitor (He took it to another isle, opened the box, took it out and tried to walk out with it.) so im looking at this torn up box, and notice something odd. The tag is wrong. i pull out my phone real quick, look up the monitor. its a $400 monitor, open boxed mark down, against the wrong monitor.... so I got a 32" 165hz HDR LG "Gaming" monitor for $100.
not color accurate, but I still have my spider so can adjust it to be accurate in nvidia's tools.
Ill post early next week about day 4 and its expected Completion date.

I say that very much with a wink wink nudge nudge, to quote old Monty Python. Way to score. I kinda did the same thing to Lowes, last year buying a riding lawn mower. The had 3 different prices on the same model out front of the store. Seems one of the new guys just threw the signs up in front of any mower, I saved $600 on that one. Had to argue with the manager who had not seen the miss priced mower in weeks. He was in charge of that department. Feel good about your luck, seems 2023 is already starting good for you.
