(+ a tweet with short promo video, for your RT'ing pleasure)

Thank you all again for sticking with me these past few months, through the progress and stumbles!  I say this every time, but I mean it every time: it really means a lot that you've gifted me the opportunity to make weird (& hopefully helpful) interactive stuff like this.  Thank you.  <3

Also, I wanna know what you'll learn using Spaced Repetition!  Send me photos of your Leitner Box/screenshots of your Anki cards – I'll be collecting these examples into a page for everyone to see.

Happy learning, all! :D

I've always found it challenging to explain SRS/Anki to people. Your comic has finally made this a breeze! Thanks so much for that, Nicky!

Oh that's awesome to hear my early drafts could inspire you to use Anki! It's always nice to hear that I could help someone else, even if in some indirect way :) (also now I'm looking up Debugging Teams – seems interesting & valuable! although when I see "HRT" I automatically think Hormone Replacement Therapy :P)

I started using Anki because of your early drafts of the explorable. I'm using it to remember concepts from books I'm reading, such as the HeaRT concepts from "Debugging Teams" and also to learn useful phrases in Japanese.

Another happy Anki user here. Started using it about 15 months ago (according to its stats) to help with Italian vocab; I add words as I find them, mostly using my own install of Learning With Texts. I've found that I have spells with more or less time to study, and so vary the number of new words depending on how stretched for time I feel; the initial burst of excitement was typically doing 100+ new words per day, then stabilized around 25 for a while, and currently am back up to 15 after a few weeks at 10 when I had lots of other stuff going on. Apparently I've learned 6600 words this way, with another 200 in progress. Not bad at all. I also recently decided to try learning other things, and went through a pre-made deck of national flags. It was surprisingly easy to do 3 new flags a day, and after about three months, I've got almost all of them down with only a few that I still struggle with.

I use Anki every day for many years, and I hope your beautiful comic will help the others to learn to learn stuff they want more effectively. I had lots of fun reading through your creation :)

Sensational work, Nicky! I'm glad that you included a link to let people translate, I'm sure this will allow you to reach even more people. Starting right now...
