The Race For VR

Alright, I'm back from giving a talk at the Eyeo Festival 2015! Wait, did I mention that at all? That I was giving a 45-min-long talk last week? Well I gave a 45-min-long talk last week, and it was received wonderfully. My talk was about telling stories with systems, teaching systems with stories, all wrapped up in a personal and emotional tale.

The video for it should be up soon! In the meantime, when I got back, Polygon.com finally released the minigame I made for them last month:

http://www.polygon.com/a/the-race-for-vr/play-our-vr-minigame
It's a game-within-a-game, about Virtual Reality. And yes, it uses real Web VR tech, and works in Google Cardboard! A couple months ago, I also made a short VR animation for Mozilla, (and they showed it off at GDC) but I haven't yet uploaded it, because it currently glitches out in Mozilla Firefox. Ha ha. Whoops.
So yeah, a bunch of stuff is suddenly happening at once, so expect a bunch more Patreon posts soon. The video of my Eyeo talk should be up in a couple weeks, and I want to share cool progress I've made on TWO explorable explanations I've been making.

hugs and bugs,
~ Nicky

P.S:The seven student-made Explorables for the Now I Get It! Jam were posted online a few weeks ago! http://www.nowigetitjam.com/#what-happened
