I very much enjoyed this ramble and admittedly, it's the first one I've listened to. 👀Thank you for sharing with us a slice of your (metaphorical) cake of life. It sounds like you've had an eventful time recently. Being a nomad, now that is something I don't think I am strong enough to manage, at least not how I am now. I'm a creature of habit and stability and although I've had my fair share of moves, big and small, I always crave a sense of steadiness and belonging. But as they say, the toughest of battles yield the sweetest of victories, and I'm sure that wherever your journeys take you, you will find somewhere you truly love and can truly call yours. You're a tough cookie, Storm and we believe in you! 🙌 I'm sorry to hear that the job thing didn't turn out exactly as you expected. The heart tends to romanticize the dreams we deeply yearn for but the big meanie called reality steps in and reminds us otherwise. However, you can now confidently say that you gave it a go and have no regrets about your decision going forward. Your happiness is what matters in this pursuit! Thank you for sharing all the beautiful poems from you and Luna with us. They were so beautiful, and I appreciate the cozy vibes and emotions they evoked. I always love a bit of closeup whispering. [And a very Happy (early/belated) Birthday to Luna as well! May you have an amazing year ahead, you amazing bean!] But I believe that's quite enough from me for now. I hope you have an amazing day and a wonderful week ahead, Storm. Wishing you the very best in all your endeavours and the best with all the moving from place to place. I hope the new places all have desks so you're not relegated to the closet for recordings again! 🤭And remember to always take care of yourself, take breaks, and stay hydrated! Ultimately, your happiness and contentment are the most important, and I wish you the best in this quest. Adventure on with gusto and zest, and though there may be moments that you might detest; when you reach the crest, relax, maybe jest, and look back on these very moments, for surely, what comes next will be the very best. P.S. This being the first ramble audio of yours that I've listened to, should give you an indication of the random hiatuses I take from here. 👀

Mathew "MatPat" Patrick, the previous host of the YouTube channel Game Theory and its sister channels, originally started recording in his closet, as Rose Reaper stated. I have also seen VA's using pillow forts, blankets draped over their heads, etc. to eliminate unnecessary reverb. In the end, it doesn't matter who goofy it looks, what matters is how it sounds.

I've always wanted to travel, especially outside my own country, but I too want to plant myself in a more firm foundation. The feeling of constantly moving still lingers with me. So much so that when I moved into my first apartment, it took me months to unpack all of my things because I thought I would have to move again. Here's hoping you're able to find a place to call home (and a dog 😉). I said once and I'll say it again, that's the mark of a brilliant actor. My friend says he may have to adopt that technique.

A heart attack feels small compared to what I feel right now, my heart is doing the fandango at triple speed, and I’m not strong enough for that. 🫠 I had to pause for a few minutes just to stare into the void and contemplate. You have the power to make me reconsider everything. Jokes aside, this was… wow. I’m not even sure how to feel, it’s a mix of shock, excitement, vulnerability, and maybe even a little bit of panic. A full emotional tornado. But hearing my poems in your voice? That’s something I can’t quite put into words. I’m beyond impressed, and it feels surreal. Thank you, Storm, for making me feel alive for the first time in a long time. 🤍 You know, last night I was thinking that you hadn’t posted a ramble in a long time. And my little wish came true. 🤭 It was really lovely to hear you talk about trying out your long-time dream, even if it turned out to be a little different than expected. No matter where life takes you next, I hope you keep following your dreams and making the best choices for yourself, but I think you already know that. As for moving, I can only imagine how exhausting it must be to live like a nomad, never fully settling. Stability is something we don’t always realize we need until the longing for it catches up with us. I truly hope you’ll find a place that feels like home one day. Wherever that may be, I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait. I’d say more, but I think I’ve already rambled enough nonsense, so I’ll stop here. Thank you again for this audio full of emotions. It definitely proves that my little heart can still dance the fandango. 😅💗

I long to find something more stable. It's a really cool acting exercise! I'm always thinking from the POV of my characters haha, I just have them all in me.

I kind of understand been a nomad, It's hard to be on the move and not knowing where and when to settle down. I understand your view and thought on the matter and regarding the week you had with that job, sometimes our dreams don't bring too much joy in our lives as we thought. I hope your next travel to the other country goes without any issues Storm, glad to hear that you spend your birthday with your family by just having a diner and been with them, sometimes those birthdays are best. It's a different kind of relaxing compared to the cinematic masterpieces you normally produce. I can't put my finger on why though. I imagine moving about has been tiring. What you said about "settling" reminded me of my days in primary school when my parents would constantly move from place to place. I felt those sentiments, as I never partook in extracurriculars, thinking I would be moving soon. I hope you are able to find what you're looking for regarding that dream job. (If you need any help, remember you have an army of at least 86 thousand of us and counting.) Best of luck with your move too. Good to hear you're striking a balance with your video posting. Burn out is all smoke and no flame! Thanks for sharing your poems with us; sounds like you haven't lost your touch! Interesting to hear about it being written from the POV of your characters. A friend of mine studying acting told me about an exercise where he would write an journal entry as the character, and the idea of writing a poem or making another work of art from their perspective sounds like deeper level of that. Most appropriate choice of poetry considering the weather! Anyway, I should probably stop here. It's not my job to put people to sleep after all. Thanks for the audio and stay warm.

Thank you for your beautiful poems.🙏 Ohhhh… I didn’t know you were a fellow January baby, Storm🤭 I didn’t mean to laugh, but I just found it funny—did you really record inside the closet? 😂 On a serious note, I’m glad you got to try out what you wanted and see what it’s like. It sounds like you’ve had (or will have) a tough decision to make, and honestly, I’d feel the same in your shoes. But for smaller things, like signing up for clubs, I think experiences are valuable even if they are temporary. If something interests you, it’s still worth the try, don’t you think? For the past few years, I’ve told myself, ‘eh, why not?’ before trying something new, and it’s helped me do things I never thought I would. It’s not always easy, but you can always quit if it’s not for you. And thank you for your lovely poems, Storm. Writing poems from your character’s perspective—that’s really something. If you ask me, my favorite was Static 🥰
