This was such a sweet little audio, and it felt like the perfect way to tie up what has been a rather eventful year. This script was so sweet and the meta references as well as references to past audios were such treats. The little “aha” moment followed by the rush of dopamine that hits when you get the reference is oh-so-wonderful! Keep those references coming, Blue and Storm! You are doing something magical with this continuous interconnected world for all these audios, and I’m all for it! I still love how you trickle in parts of yourself in these stories too as it makes it so deeply personal and heartfelt. Much like all the other characters you play, I adored this one so much. She is just the same as most people: gentle, kind, a little sassy, but most of all, afraid of the uncertain. It was so wonderful to progress through all the references (peppy!) and finally culminate in the confession at the end. Some might think the countdown is cliché but hey, that’s the stuff movies are made of! The banter between the speaker and listener was playful and amusing to experience and it seemed they were already the best of friends. Now with the dawn of the New Year, I hope they will be the best of lovers for all the years to come (I can’t help but imagine future scenarios for these🤭) As always, your VA work always manages to bring the character to life. The transition from the speaker’s confident, bright, and cheerful self for most of the audio to the more serious, yearning, and romantic personality at the one was so well done. This coupled with the masterful sound design always helps me to craft a virtual stage in my mind and it’s one of the many reasons why I regard your work as my favourite! Thank you once again, Storm, for this beautiful piece of art. As the final curtain falls on the year 2024, I just want to thank you for all your amazing work. Your work has inspired laughs, tears, mystery, intrigue, tranquility, spice, tingles, and the warmest of feelings across so many of your audios. The stories you craft are nothing short of exquisite and for someone who doesn’t read a lot, I love this format of storytelling. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again; coming across your work has been the highlight of this year for me and few things come close to it. It has been a pleasure watching the growth your channel has experienced throughout the (now) past year, and I hope the New Year brings even greater things!
