Added 2024-07-09 06:30:01 +0000 UTCWow. Just wow. We had a feeling this episode was going to be a momentous one, and it DEFINITELY was. The details for both the fighting of the dragons in the air, how they were able to scratch and claw at each other and use their weight to their advantage, as well as the relationship between the riders and their dragon was incredible. You could feel the connection between Meleys and Rhaenys. They both knew that their end was coming, and both decided to continue fighting. Brave and honorable. We'll miss her dearly.
But even besides all of that, what shocking turns for our characters! Aegon has officially been killed, which is absolutely WILD. I sorta predicted it happening but didn't see it coming so soon or so violently! The moment he realizes that Aemond is about to kill him along with Rhaenys is INSANELY well done. I was holding my breath the entire battle and it came to such a suprising end. What an episode.
