Princess Carolyn's Breakout Episode.

"Say Anything" was the first episode that truly got me into this show and made me want to continue watching the season as soon as I could. Such great characterization, excellent story structuring, and a heartbreaking ending that make for a super solid episode of Bojack Horseman. Princess Carolyn became my favorite character in the entire main cast after this episode, with such a relatable struggle and a fantastic depiction of the effects of Bojack's treatment of others.

Thanks for suppo...

The Fight That Changed Bojack and Diane Forever.

Hey, look at that! 1 day turnaround on editing- might be a new personal best. Seriously, though I hope y'all are enjoying the content and I'm going to be putting stuff out more frequently to make sure you Patrons are getting the best benefits possible- because you deserve it!

The Bojack Episode of Rebirth.

One of people's favorite episodes, namely because it's so starkly different from the usual tone this show strikes. I absolutely love the messages that this episode conveys, and it is crucially important for anyone going through recovery or trying to better themselves in any way. With a beautiful ending and amazing characterization, "Face of Depression" is truly one of a kind!

It means so much to me that you're all here, supporting this channel! I appreciate each and every one of ya, and...

What does it mean to survivors to be called a "victim"? What might prevent someone from seeking justice? How do we move on from these awful experiences? Hope this video could answer some of these questions for you!

Korra's Most INVENTIVE Episode.

One of the most requested episodes after I reviewed "When Extremes Meet" was Season 2, Episode 10- "A New Spiritual Age". I can see why: this episode is a masterpiece in establishing lore and worldbuilding, especially for an area that we never particularly explored heavily in the first series, only traveling to a few locations in the spirit world.

Here, we're taught rules, we meet dozens of completely unique and amazingly-designed spirits, and we learn that the spirit world is still no...

The Episode That Changed Diane.

The episode absolutely floored me when I first watched it. I couldn't believe the development Diane goes through, and the ending monologue was able to get me to feel so many separate emotions, I actually shed tears. It seriously is so meaningful to me to this day and has helped me immensely.

Hope you all enjoy this episode review, and I hope that I did the episode justice! Thanks for supporting me here on Patreon- it helps this channel to stay afloat, so thank you!

The Role of "Good Damage" in Bojack Horseman.

What role does the concept of "Good Damage" play in Bojack Horseman? How does it relate to the other main characters? Could trauma be used as a catalyst for personal growth? Why do we search for meaning in our trauma?

Hope this essay provided some clarity on these questions, and that you enjoyed this video! Thanks, as always, Patrons, for being here to support me and making me feel welcome on the internet (you don't know how much it means to me- seriously). Let us know what you'd like t...

Bojack's Most PAINFUL Episode.

"Ruthie" does psychic damage to me every time I watch it. In fact, before season 5 came out, it was my favorite episode of the entire show, for so viscerally depicting the mental state of my favorite character, contextualizing her actions, and ultimately making me feel so much worse than the show really ever had.

It's tough to say, of course- this show's got a lot of moments, but the end of this episode always stuck with me more than others. Perhaps it's the composition of the...

The Episode That Changed Todd.

Definitely one of the most humor-based episodes, given how many shenanigans Todd is bound to jump into in one whole episode about him, but despite all that, it still manages to be an incredible vehicle for Todd's development and changed pretty much entirely how I saw him as a character.

Appreciate you all- stay positive out there and spread it around. We all need it!

Korra's Most UNDERRATED Episode.

"When Extremes Meet" has to be one of my favorite episodes in the entire show. Not only is it well-structured, exciting, and plays into the overall Equalist plotline super well, but it's also excellent commentary on American domestic policy and how groups of people can be excluded out of fear and lust for power.

It really is an incredible depiction of how quickly this sweeping change can take over, even when there are good people in the government, like Tenzin. Most of the offi...

"Stupid Piece of Sh*t" - Bojack's Most Realistic Episode.

One of the community's favorite episodes collectively, mostly due to its incredibly realistic portrayal of the daily toils of dealing with mental illness. I've really never seen another show convey this aspect so effectively, and to be able to show and get the audience to understand what it's like to live with this "voice in your head".

And the ending is, of course, depressing, but also completely necessary and accurate to this "voice". It isn't something you can simply ditch or that g...

Bojack's Most CREATIVE Episode- "Fish Out of Water"

One of the best episodes of Bojack, many would agree. Such a masterpiece in terms of visual storytelling and the ability to convey intense emotions without saying a single word throughout the entire episode. This show truly demonstrated how strong this entire series was with respect to its writing and ability to convey dark concepts with ease.

Lots of people requested this one recently, and honestly, I'm not sure why I didn't do this episode yet. It's very obviously one of the best and ...

The First Masterpiece of Bojack Horseman.

This episode lives in everyone's minds rent-free- and for good reason. For most, it's the moment that had them fall in love with the series (mine was a tad earlier, but this defiinitely cemented it). It's the very first episode that leaves the viewer feeling absolutely empty inside, and is also the first where they demonstrated the effective use of their limited cursing.

Such a powerful ending, and one that means so much for Bojack's character. This episode really puts in a ton of work ...

The Bojack Episode That Changed Everything.

This episode raised stakes to a completely new level, utilized storytelling to convey addiction in an entirely unique method, and has some of the most tense scenes in all of Bojack. This still remains to be my favorite episode of the entire show, as it did not take me off the edge of my seat for the entire duration of its 25 minutes. The disruption of reality, blending of television show styles, and overall quick pacing all work together extremely well.
