Added 2021-01-04 16:33:45 +0000 UTCTo warm up after three weeks' break from the draw board, I've inked another one of John Byrne's modern pencil comics pages where he pretends it's the past, presumably so he has some new originals to sell. [Here's the previous one.] The resulting hybrid asks more questions than it answers - just as it should!
In this page, JB continues his modern "all thumbs must pop" approach while steering us up the gusset for panel 2 in the manner of a true master. I struggled with the final panel's wobbly architecture until I realised it was missing something (and I don't mean some safety space for the lettering).
