A lost comic

Before Clip Studio came out for the iPad, I tried out an app called "Comic Draw". It was a bit buggy and weird and had some odd limitations, but it also had some well thought-out features, quite different to other drawing apps. As soon as Clip Studio came out, I stopped trying to bend it to my will. I only made one strip wholly to my liking with it, and I don't think I ever ran it on the website.

Having worked with one piece of software for 12 years, I can easily get obsessed with little differences in what comes out from other apps. The question is often not so much one of what the app can do, as how poorly I concentrate when I'm using something that requires me to learn a new workflow. Anything that feels a bit different - be it a different drawing tablet, a different height desk, it being too hot, throws me off when I'm making comic pages, because above all else, I'm reaching for consistency over everything else. I'm very delicate, like a quantum computer.

The annoying thing is that when it's not a piece that will be considered for future collection, I can draw anywhere. I mean, it's not always beautiful, but I don't care.

Anyway, this strip was perfectly fine, and so here it is.
