Black Betty: In Her Element

Hey everyone!  I'm so sorry I haven't had more for you lately.  Been a little occupied helping my father move out of his home, and he's got lots of stuff to manage.  Not to mention his dogs!  Yeah, let's blame them today.  That'll work.  But thanks again for all your patience and support, it really does mean the world to me.

I'm making another Stone Society illustration with accompanying text (trying to address the breadth and scope of Zandra's future Miscellanea before I turn all my focus to Witch Warp and finally finishing the Omnibus), but inspiration struck and I didn't want to leave Betty in a sour mood after her last picture.  Would anyone be averse to these "pinups" becoming a semi-regular thing?  I'm not posting it on the main site, this isn't very family friendly, but I can't say I don't enjoy this kind of art, and anything that keeps me drawing is mana for my soul.

This picture involves about, oh, 75% traditional pen and ink work and 25% tablet experimentation.  Really trying to lean into this new medium.  I'm sure that if you look closely you can tell which lines were made with my trusty old Microns and which clumsy strokes were done with a stylus pen.  This is good training, not just for digital drawing, but for a different brand of shading which doesn't involve grey tones.  Y'know, just implying texture and shadow with a bunch of contoured lines.  Seems like a good fit for me.  I'm going to try to do more with this.  What do you think?
