end of the week encouragement + update

thank you for taking care of me, being patient and being so supportive...i feel really lucky to have you...i'm sorry again for the cancellation this weekend, i've been very uncertain about things regarding my throat ;-;

little update on that I guess: I feel..."fine"? I can speak fine, but I haven't tried for extended periods of time. My throat pain kind of remains and makes it a bit uncomfortable to speak but it's becoming pretty manageable and not noticeable sometimes. It comes and goes, can't say I really know why though. If I were to guess anything, it's that I do have silent acid reflux, and it is just taking a while for my new meds to really kick in/for me to feel the effects, and for the burning to go away. It's always just a matter of time with these things huh...but yeah, if that's the case, speaking isn't really toooo bad. Doing my best to manage with diet changes, taking pain killers, etc. If I have just straight laryngitis though, raw rest would be best >.<

I went to the ER today actually to get another check up! I wanted a 2nd opinion from a new doctor because I've been going crazy with these issues...however nothing new was really gleamed. They didn't seem to think it was a huge deal for me to continue with my activities, and they did not prescribe or advise anything to me. They did take several tests, new throat swabs testing for different infections and they did a blood test as well. Sooo in a couple days, hopefully should be some results from that (or not, I think if it's negative they just don't bother to call or update haha will have to see), I do kind of want to just jump on antibiotics as I'm starting to think that might be the answer (nothing else really worked) but I don't have a fever so...I guess the ER just didn't bother thinking it was important.

It's always hard to deal with these health issues, I'm not exactly the best advocate for myself or good at speaking up...but I'll trust what they are saying for now. If tests are negative, I'll officially start the antibiotics and hopefully from there things can finally come back to normal...orrr I just keep waiting I guess and taking it easy

I'm sorry for the short notice and if the time doesn't work for you, however I have decided that I should just do it whenever is most convenient for myself - and I want to make up for the missed Saturday stream ASAP. I'll have another short stream earlier so that's why it's a bit late. If you can't make it, that's totally okay! I understand and I'll still be thinking of you. There will always be the vods for you, please don't stress yourself too much about missing it or even do things like take time off of work, I don't want you to jeopardize your life for my sake! It's not like these streams are super long anyways so, I'd feel bad if you take the whole day off just for that >.< Of course it's all up to you, but I want to try to ease your worries about it. It is okay to miss things sometimes, just do what you can! I'll be really happy still if you use my video after you come home from work, on your own time and at your own pace, to help relieve your stress :3 s-so yeah....

There will still be another patreon stream this coming Saturday as well, at the usual time! You get back to back since the next week is my birthday sooo...lucky you I guess~ and I'm planning for it to be a handcam stream since I'm gonna receive some...items...but we'll see~ :P
