I started a one month plan to completely change my daily cycle to focus on output, but easing from a total cessation of input(I'm cheating by posting here, as any internet activity I see as input) toward a cycle of daily morning ritual involving 6am-10am with no electronics or any input whatsoever(no movies, books, etc. just me and my journal/writing projects, and meditation/exercise) followed by 10am-6pm of only creative output and socializing/resting, avoiding the internet and any input, with a reward from 6pm-9pm where I can browse the internet/netflix/etc before winding down for sleep. I'm already noticing a HUGE change in my mood and energy even after only four days. Thanks for reminding me of the important things I was avoiding. I think I can enter into a new chapter of my life with the sort of focus I need to change my life in a meaningful way.

It made me smile a bit, hearing someone else values and is aware of L-theanine. I don't bring it up much any more, because I always get the reaction from people that's is meme-like and in the realm of waving crystals around. But from what I've experienced, it's a very effective companion to caffeine. In fact if/when I drink coffee, I try to take a L-theanine supplement with my first cup.

The period where I was in the best physical shape of my life was roughly two years ago during college. The biggest contributing factors were diet and exercise. I intermittent fasted during that time and it seemed to work for me. I’ll have to add it back in as a part of my physical goals for next year.
