The Rich Person Mindset

The Rich Person Mindset

I like the part where I notice that I already think this way. About scaling things from the onset instead of hustling to squeeze every single dollar I can. You provide some terminology and framework, and I really like the "you're only as good as your last at bat" but I'm starting to have a lot more confidence in myself and how I have this mindset that will continue to make my business last well into old age. What I do for money can change, but how I use that money in order to scale exponentially is the most important part for me. I may only earn about $50/month from my business right now but the key part is that it doesn't really have a ceiling so long as I invest that money back into my business and eventually reach a point where I can justify purchasing equity such as stocks. Really I'd be happy with being able to secure $3k a month lmfao but I don't want to think small. I like to think of the "Hulk" method where I just throw myself at the problem as far as I can and make adjustments once I'm there so that the next throw can be much farther.

Late to comment but great video! Especially if you are continuously improving over time. Your time becomes more valuable.

Hey Devin, another great video, thank you for your content. I am in the process of trying to start an e-commerce business. If you happen to know anything about e-commerce videos on that may be helpful. But yeah thank you once again and keep up the amazing work, much appreciated.

I got excited when Devin dropped the word NFT. I would love to hear how web3 and ownership will change how we do business, influence, and create content.

Thanks, this was great! How about a video about attracting clients if your side hustle is commission based?(incl paid advertising, content creation, etc, like a guide? If this is already available, I haven't found it yet :D )

Thank you Devin! I'm an artist trying to get away from freelance work and be independent and make money off my own work. Your videos are always invaluable. I'd love to hear you talk more about NFTs, both investing and creating. There is a huge chasm in the art community between anti NFT people and pro NFT people (and those stuck in the middle) which makes it hard for more artists to get into the space (unless you want to face endless harassment/cancelling). I'd be really interested in your thoughts. Thank you!

Another great video Devin, thank you. Here's some ideas I has while watching -> what would be a product launch you could do to scale a youtube video? How does scaling works in the terms of content creation?

This video hit home. I cannot recommend a side hustle enough. When I lost my job during COVID (despite being told numerous times our department would be okay), I was stuck. My fiancée was in grad school and I was paying for a large majority of our living expenses. My investments and freelancing (web design and marketing) helped keep us afloat. More importantly, it gave me the flexibility and freedom to not be desperate while job hunting. Ended up landing a really good gig that I appreciate. The best part? I still haven’t stopped freelancing. I will never be put in a situation where my livelihood depends on my job - and that is such a freeing feeling!

I wonder on your thought of scalability for YouTube channel. You can not evaluate/sell them but can't you lower the cost of your time by hiring someone to manage the account, edit the content etc. so that you simplify your investment to "just" giving out a raw video and the rest is handled?

Loving the content Devin, keep it up!
