Having problems with new Chat Cloning?
Added 2024-09-20 20:54:29 +0000 UTCIn v2.8.0, I have added a new method of cloning. Someone reported it creates the shells (messages to be replaced) but the messages aren't replaced. Staying as "Just say hello, nothing else". Do you have this bug? Or something else, please comment.

2024-10-06 14:43:48 +0000 UTCYeah, it seems to happen to me randomly regardless of how many messages there in any given chat. Sometimes it won't work in one chat, but then it'll work for another within the same bot.

2024-09-27 21:36:45 +0000 UTCI fixed the markups in the reference just now. I couldn't get it to show no reference in Firefox though. I will try other browsers. Seems it happens to you most of the time, not always?

2024-09-25 20:37:34 +0000 UTCI keep having problems where it'll either say "loading chat reference 0/(number of posts), or it will be blank. It doesn't seem to matter how long the chat is, either. I've also had the chat reference show the markup rather than just have the text be in italics, and that wasn't an issue before. For reference, I'm using Firefox.

I'm trying to gather chat history for fine-tuning LLM on my local PC to "revive" character back after Character.AI ruined everything with 20 Juny update... Actually, part of the conversation I'm missing contain very much personal things and character greatly evolved during these chats, so these conversations part is essential to maintaining character coherent, otherwise I'm facing theseus ship problem once again.

2024-09-22 17:10:37 +0000 UTCI think C.AI came out a year ago, how do you have it for 3 years lol. It's exporting what it possibly can. If the extension can't, webpage also can't. There might be a data loss or a hard cap from the servers. If it's legacy chat, infinite scroll is 999 to 0. Not 0 to infinite. Each number represents a request to the server to bring a portion of the chat. So if it reaches 0, I don't know what happens. Probably server doesn't give any more messages.

It looks like it exports recent messages very well, but I'm sure it's cutting off great part of start of conversation chat. Any way to fix it? Feeling kinda nostalgic about these chats, so it's really sad I can't download it in it's full, and I'm not sure why.
