The cramping scenes between the two are nearly identical, the difference being that Kenny can lift Wes. But if Laurel could’ve carried Thor on her back and lugged him up the mountain we all know she would’ve.

My issue has always been the legacy conversation when all I’ve seen is him not be ultra elite. There’s a very big difference between being a very, very good challenger that’s undeniable. But when you’re talking about Mount Rushmore Aka top for all time then I have to be extremely critical and he’s just not there for me from what I have seen. Could be wrong and maybe my opinion will change as I watch more but this is where I’m at right now- pierre

So he’s now the only member left of three incredibly dominant players coming off of his 3rd(?) win. He soars after this imo largely in part to the departure of his alliance - aka his biggest competition.

2025-07-07 02:38:36 +0000 UTCThe dynamic that was illustrated in the eating challenge is something that the Kenny, Johnny, Evan boys mastered and now only stays in the show through Johnny. Stakes are the highest they’ve ever been. Kenny realizes he and Wes are losing ground and he’s just shoveling his face calling Wes a sissy while Johnny and Tyler are cheering seemingly taking their time (it was a marathon of a meal). Their ability to keep it light and still funny in these times of crazy stress made the show so good. Especially as challenges got harder and harder. Johnny still does this in the challenge. If he’s losing or winning he’s still cracking jokes to keep the vibes elevated. People think it’s so annoying. But if Johnny isn’t in that S40 final, it’s just a bunch of miserable athletes watching Jordan smoke them, as an example.

That’s USA 2 (where he was embarrassed) and Rivals 1 And from what I’ve seen, he is not a top-tier competitor, he is not on the Jordan CT Bananas level Aura or Competitive abilities. In this instance, he was in his physical prime and was paired with someone who most people say would have been the goat and was the weak link in the final - I will not apologize for calling it objectively Secondly, I’m also going off of expectations from what I have heard/consumed from other fans in comparing it to what I’m seeing on screen. Adam is not considered a GOAT yet. I see him consistently performing well, he had a bad elimination and got bounced. Am I glazing him the way you guys glaze Wes, absolutely not. But is he much better than he gets credit for, IN MY OPINION, yes. Thanks for the input I love these debates !

Him cramping didn’t make them lose. He kept them in position to win. Easily the most underwhelming performance is Tori in 40. Got last place damn near everytime

I promise u as someone that’s watched every season. Wes is easily top 4 all time. Yes he did fold in the final. But they wouldn’t have even been there if it wasn’t for him. It’s ridiculous that u love Adam and stick up for Adam but clown Wes. Every time Adam got abused by CT. IT WAS HIS FAULT. Then he made a deal with Bananas to get a cut of the final prize pot (just like mark in exes) I might be the biggest jordan fan in the world. But in a swim. Yes Wes would beat jordan easily. He’s the best swimmer to ever be on the show. Wes is annoying sometimes. But the order is Jordan, Bananas, CT, Wes. He’s a goat
