Roderick is a bad ass! 😆 I don’t know if I’d classify Guts’s group as a classic harem. Itis not composed only of girls, at this point it’s mostly men. Scheirke has a school girl crush on him which is mostly resolved. Now Farnese, she had felt something for Guts the first time she wiped him! So this has been a long standing feeling. It’s only intensified, but now she has Roderick! It’s another love triangle just like with Griffith, Guts and Casca. I don’t think it will end up the same way.... although the BOD was sure hinting at it! The shackles that bind the BOD are Guts’s relationships with his new family and Scheirkes magic. I would like to think that his caring for others will cage the beast once and for all. Who knows? The nightmare is his subconscious warning him to be careful. And yes, no one knows the real relationship between him and Casca. He doesn’t talk about his past so he also doesn’t talk about Casca’s past. Everyone is left to guess as to what it is. They have a feeling, but it’s never confirmed. To them, Guts is a mystery. And his eyesight is failing too...
