Personally, as I’m visually impaired and have mobility issues, it’s always fun for me to live vicariously through others and I watch a few independent artists, not just music ones, and support them as much as I possibly can. It’s fun to see the improvement you’re making, and despite the anxiousness or apprehension about singing in front of people, you go for it and, in my opinion, do a brilliant job of it. I’ll never understand anyone that tries to tear someone down, be overly negative, or just shit on them be it irl or online, (which is even worse imo). The world is already a fucking shitty place, with so much negativity in it, why add to that? I try to be positive and supportive wherever I can with people. It costs nothing to be kind. Even I can see the growth, improvement, and steps you’ve made over just a few years ago. It was awesome to see you doing your first live vocal performance, and I was even singing along, badly, to the songs as I’ve listened to them a lot. You could see you were a little nervous but looked like you belonged there and were born to do it. It doesn’t matter how small the crowd was, or the venue, everyone had to start somewhere. No artist ever started out playing to packed out stadia, they all started small singing in their bedroom, sketching in a sketchbook, writing and rewriting short stories hoping to get published. I believe with your drive and passion, that you’ll 100% get there and achieve your dreams. In the mid to late 80’s the band Mother Love Bone played some tiny, mostly empty bars yet the frontman, Andrew Wood, played every show like it was a sold out stadium show of 50k+ people. Granted things didn’t end so well for him, but he grabbed life with both hands and lived it to the fullest. So maybe don’t aspire to the drug overdose part lol. I look forward to the day that I can attend your first headline tour and say that I was there back when. Continue to be awesome, the world needs more of that ❤️.

Just saw your edits. You’re out of your mind. A kids birthday party? There were kids present in a public park, it was NOT a kids birthday party. Also, you’re insane if you think people don’t get invested in the journey and the imperfections with it. Go watch old videos of Gaga playing in empty dive bars in New York and tell me it tinged her reputation. Frankly, this was an unnecessarily rude and insulting comment that seems to be coming from a place of ignorance and second hand embarrassment, which you do not owe me. Keep it to yourself. You’re not a consultant, manager nor advisor of mine and if the content isn’t for you then you can ignore it. Do not, however, tell me how to approach it. Put your efforts into your own pursuits instead. Respectfully, never leave comments like this on another person’s work again.

I think you're a nice person Geo and I commend you for trying to follow your dream, but this is getting way too delusional now. 1) doing those sort of dances and singing your lyrics at a kid's birthday party seems pretty inappropriate and 2) you wouldn't include bar work on a professional CV if you're going for a big professional job, so I wouldn't publicise this sort of performance as it's still pretty low quality and doesn't make sense , it just invites ridicule and people to not take you seriously if you end up improving singing.
