Publisher offer.
Added 2022-06-05 17:48:02 +0000 UTCAfter doing more research into self publishing, and realizing just how much of a hurdle it is, I decided to look into finding a publisher again. I came into contact with a company called Friesenpress, and after talking to them and doing some digging for reviews, they come across as someone who would have my best interests in view.
So now I have a clear goal in mind to achieve. After speaking with them, they are asking for 5k over 6 months (roughly 850$ a month) and in return, they will professionally edit the novel, help with advertising it (which being honest, is my weakest aspect.) They will also handle all the book keeping and orders to ensure book stores have physical copies, orders are printed when made and so on. Not only would I get royalties on top of that, but they will also allow me to continue with other projects I wish to persue.
To summarize: If I manage to raise the patreon too bare minimum 850, I can afford to pay the publisher. My goal however is 1k because I do wish to continue paying Semo for the manga. I refuse to leave him behind in all this.
