2025-08-10 14:39:22 +0000 UTCI swear each episode keeps getting better and better. They can’t keep getting away with this much peak one after the other lol. It was super cool how you immediately clocked that the Berserk Beyonder was Havre, not many reactors so far that I’ve seen have managed to clock it that fast so congrats. Also major props to you for noticing right away that Old Neil only had the keepsakes of his companions and loved ones left as they all died, showing how suddenly real everything became to Klein when he realized how horrifying the fates of Beyonders are. Episode 7 was fantastic with how it brought up all the coincidences from the previous episodes, as well as effectively putting the audience on guard for anything in the future that could be the cause of something far more powerful and sinister. Klein really shows how smart he is piecing everything together- he’s seriously of one the smartest MC’s I’ve ever seen. Also him digesting the potion in less than two months of drinking it is insane- for the record, digesting a potion completely within 1 month to half a year is extremely abnormal and fast compared to how long potions are usually deemed safe for further advancement. The acting method is truly a game-changer with how broken it is. Episode 8 I thought was brilliant for both it’s humour slice of life bits and the more serious and heart wrenching moments with Old Neil and his experiences- it really goes to show how dangerous this world is, and how much of a risk it is to be a Beyonder, especially at lower Sequences. The fact that a Beyonder can lose control at literally any moment is both terrifying and heartbreaking to think about, and I feel this episode showcased the tragedy of Beyonder quite well. Fair warning for the Old Neil Mysticism class for ep 8, make sure to watch Merlin Sparrow’s translation as there is a spoiler for later episodes and plot points, and Merlin Sparrow marked the timestamp of the spoiler so you can skip it. Again, fire reaction to one of the best shows out there right now (seriously at this point I’ve probably digested the entirety of my Sequence 9 Glazer potion lmao)
