2024-12-25 15:34:31 +0000 UTCAs with any light novel series, things get cut whenever they get adapted into different mediums manga/manhwa/anime. The internal thoughts and such are not always captured in the manhwa for any light novel series, so I decided to read the novel first, I would say the novel for TBATE is darker. You can see what the thoughts are, but the manhwa is pretty good, so it comes down to this, if you like dark stories and stuff like that I think you should check out the novel, if not then staying with the manhwa is fine. Both are good

2024-12-25 15:13:48 +0000 UTCyeah the anime teaser bothered me quite a lot, that's why I would wait on it and see what the reviews say about it, but yeah the visuals in the manhwa are beautiful, I read the novel before the manhwa just because that's how the series started like solo leveling, then I moved on to the manhwa, I do hope that anime looks better than it did in the trailer, because TBATE is one of my favorite novel series to read

2024-12-25 13:58:21 +0000 UTCI just read TBATE manhwa, it’s peak and almost like an alternative version of Mushoku cuz it feels like they took so many aspects from it and tweaked it for a more PC audience, nonetheless the visual storytelling in the manhwa is epic, but after seeing the anime teaser I’m not confident the anime will do the manhwa justice.
