Finally got around to watching this, but these scenes from Nagi's perspective certainly revealed more of his character. He really really appreciates what he has with Reo. From Isagi's POV, Nagi looks like he just ditches Reo for the strongest player, when Nagi was just discovering who he was to be the best with Reo and I gotta say, this bromance is kinda sweet tho.

For example, we always say that budget impacts animation quality, which is only 25 percent true. When we look ufotable people assume it’s always down to the budget, it’s not I saw a video explaining what the reality of the situation is. The quality of animation does not solely depend on budget, it more so depends on timing, direction, and condition. I mean look how great Toei did with the Dragon Ball franchise, but at the same time, One Piece had horrible animation, same with the examples I mentioned above. Also mappa has a great budget, but what was the problem in JJK season 2? Those 3 big factors all came into play.

2024-11-07 18:49:10 +0000 UTCIf only blue lock, the best selling manga of 2023, had a studio like ufo table to animate it alongside the amazing ost, voice acting and plot. Arguably U20 vs blue lock 11 is one of the best fictive sports matches of all time, it just has everything. It will be a true shame if it will be a slide show :( And this movie highlights that if the current studio would at least use its time and budget more towards blue lock, it can do better... I can only recommend and urge to read the manga. It has an amazing and unique art style that lets you imagine more movement then you currently see in the anime; which is crazy to state.

2024-11-07 08:38:51 +0000 UTCMichael, you want to know something rather intriguing. This is not about this Blue Lock episode but about Blue Lock as a whole. Of course, it's about the animation. What's weird is that Blue Lock has the same animation studio as the Slime anime, and yet the quality between the 2 is great, Slime's base animation is way better than Blue Lock's, the peaks are higher in Slime, and despite Slime having a chill part 2 of season 3 which came this year Blue Locks animation is horrible. I can only assume that they have poured more resources towards Slime, just because they are releasing season 4 and a movie in the future( probably the end of next year or the start of 2026), also Slime is about to enter one of its best stretches ever( maybe even the best) with season 5,6,7, and more(I am judging this because how much they adapt per season and the assumption that there will more seasons down the line because of how successful the light novel). Also in the same year that s1 of Blue Lock they were able to release a Slime movie that was really well animated, so it seems they may shift towards focusing on Slime rather than Blue Lock. Whew, that was a lot, I have more to say but I want to get your thoughts on this first.
