It wasn't super clear, but because Sukuna and Haruta were present/interfered with the summoning and subjugation ritual, Megumi unfortunately does not have control over that shikigami. He does need to defeat it by himself (somehow lmao). Shout out to the JJK Team of animators, once again they have created a masterpiece despite their obstacles.
