Pretty sure I saw this live (something i say with depressing regularity about your stuff) and, at a tender age, without a full knowledge of Ian Beale’s character history, and as a perennial supporter of underdogs, I found it pretty grim and disturbing.

I am Team Corrie but really enjoyed this anyway. Never watched EE but I do share a birthday with it - the first episode was broadcast the day I turned two.

Pretty thrilled everyone's been digging this. I know I cover a lot of niche stuff, but I was afraid everyone here might be Team Corrie.

All it needed was the Hogan Savage handshake between Beale and Mitchell for this to be perfection

Definitely an titanic Austin v Rock rivalry, though Phil Mitchell looks like a maskless Vader in this EE era

Seriously, that was a find. You'd have to have had a heart of stone not to laugh at any of this.

Next episode starts with Ian swaggering into the caff: "Well, I got the money!"

As a teaser for next month, the next video (which I'm tremendously excited to share) is an adaptation of something from Smoke & Mirrors.
