December Q&A

Hey everyone! You know the drill. Try to limit to a couple questions, don't be creepy, etc.

Will have this one out next week, and bloopers should be out by end of this week!

I really enjoy the Book of Esther, the story is great, I think it's got genuinely funny moments (the parade Haman has to throw for Mordecai, the king walking in on Haman throwing himself at Esther for mercy), it's got some great family-cares-for-family stuff (I'm a sucker for stories where relatives have to step up and be parents, part of why Lilo & Stitch is one of my favourite Disney movies), and I'm fairly certain it's like the only book in the Bible that doesn't directly mention God? I also like the bit where Esther's initial success stems from listening to the expert eunuchs and just letting them do their thing which I think is contrasted to the micromanaging that the other ladies are implied to have done and I think the message of trusting experts with their expertise rather than thinking you know better has a lot of relevancy especially today with antivaxxers and all that sort of thing but also in business contexts and such. I could go on, but basically my question is what are your thoughts on the Book of Esther and the associated holiday? Any favourite moments or themes? Also I pledged to your Patreon after reading your tweet about your latest video and how much you want people to watch it, so if you were wondering about the effectiveness of that sort of thing then I'm here as proof that it works. Edit: I've noticed you mention name pronunciation in the Q&As so I figure I'd just mention my surname is pronounced like pretty much exactly like "Cheetah" without the "t".
