Berserk Chapter 76-80 Reaction [EARLY ACCESS]

Ok.... that cover! Although it seems spoilery..... it is only mildly so. I think the editors wanted a cover that would make people pick up that volume. Miura delivered for sure! It kind of reminds me of a Conan the Barbarian type of pulp fiction novel cover. The Behelit- there are different types that are distinguished by color. As this is in black and white, they say crimson. I’m assuming the other Behelits are like rocks, kind of grey, I know there is a blue one as well depicted in one of the games. The boy was a camp follower who wanted to be a knight. He got killed and that prompted Griffith to sell himself to Governor Genon to raise money for his army. That way the loss of life could be minimized. The boys death really affected Griffith and showed that he really does care about his army. Unfortunately he has a conflicting goal of being a world leader and to get there, you have to step on the bodies of many little boys. Instead of Griffith’s character taking a fall, I’d say that it is the ascension of Griffith to the God Hand and the fall of his humanity. What Corkus said was “What’s going on up there. “ yeah, Griffith can’t talk, so he is thinking those thoughts to Guts.... of course Guts doesn’t hear what he is saying. Ok, so... we know that Guts survives and has taken his revenge on a few apostles from the feast that devoured his comrades. You asked a good question about how is he going to fight “ gods” basically.... I put that in a little “g” because..... well, you will find out. How does a man fight the inhuman? At what cost? So.... we still don’t know what made the black swordsman yet and there is an important little side story that bridges a gap to the rest of the story. Even with its flaws, one of my favorite arcs is coming up! It will delve into present day Guts and you will start to see why people love this story..... the next two arcs coming up are absolutely fantastic! Still dark, but man, the story telling is excellent! I hope I’ve sold you on the rest of your journey! Remember, this is not Shonen......... gods are...... gods.......but just maybe...... we have all had our theories! 😫
