To be more specific, the anime team skipped comedy arcs and episodes to get to Gintama’s “Endgame,” but fans threw a fit so a b-team went back and made the comedy arcs while the a-team worked on the final seasons

2020-09-16 14:19:39 +0000 UTC329-341+OVA is what was intended and how the manga is. Watching it after 300-329 is almost like going into a filler arc in the middle of a serious arc. 300-328 is the point of no return
