My three week provisioning list!
Added 2018-03-13 18:13:22 +0000 UTCThere’s nothing like waking up to a 'ready-to-go' grocery list for a 3 week sail! I've had so many requests to share my 3 week meal plan from our sail aboard the Antares 44i so here you go! Below you'll find my list of meals for 3 adults and 1 child. I broke it down into categories of drinks, breakfast, lunches, dinners and snacks.
We had more than enough drinks for the trip but we did run low on beer towards the end and had to stop for more. We also grabbed a couple cases of water for emergencies but we had a watermaker aboard so we didn't expect to need it. Breakfast was rather simple since I decided to do mostly egg combinations, these were easily rotated on a weekly basis. I was able to make lunches according to what everyone felt like that day since I stuck with mainly sandwiches. If the seas were rough then we would grill hotdogs or something similar so I didn't have to be down below cooking. The dinners were a bit more tricky since I had to monitor what needed to be used first before it went bad. Also I had to think about our passage that day and the time needed to cook the meal. At times diner became stressful but thankfully I had two men aboard willing to lend a hand.
In the list below you'll only find the actual meals and not the ingredients needed. I did it this way because it would have been too long to share 3 weeks worth of ingredients. However, we do plan to take another trip within the next few weeks and I will share the entire meal plan and ingredients needed for that one.

2018-03-13 18:56:40 +0000 UTCWhen I visit you, you need to add another bottle of vodka, a bottle of dark rum, more brats, less hot dogs, plus you would have a galley hand!
