Volvo has an EPA recall on some of their engines and if you have them on your boat, you get a free recall swap. They take your engine out and install a brand new one! Or two in this case. This is an engine that's been removed from S/V Calypso...The catamaran we sailed around Florida. Can you believe this is one of the OLD engines?! Wait until you see the new ones! This engine swap is the exact reason we sailed her.
She was on the east coast and the swap was to be completed near Tampa, Florida. So now we're in full swing getting her ready for more adventures! The plan? Get these engines swapped out, bottom paint and few other issues sorted.
After that? We have some surprises for you! Stay tuned!!
