We are finally headed south to Key Largo! We left No Name Harbor around 11:00 this morning in hopes that the weather window we've been waiting for would allow us to take a nice smooth sail south. The winds have died down, causing us to motor sail for a good amount but we did get some sailing in. So we've continued to keep both sails up to gain that extra knot or two. It's definitely a good test on our engine which will only help us gain confidence since our recent breakdown. We're about half way into our trip, the calm sea has given me the opportunity to reflect on our stay in No Name. I must say that it really is 'all that' and more from what I've heard from fellow cruisers. If you ever get the opportunity to drop your anchor here then please do! Many stay here while they await their upcoming passage, not only to the Bahamas. There's so much to see and do, from beaches to sight seeing and the marine life. The picture I posted is from the light house that we walked 109 steps up and then back down again. Rhys was lucky, he got carried (by me), which gave me an enjoyable but killer workout. Aside from those items, you can do some laundry, fill up on water and pump out for free if needed. Thankfully, we had to chance to make friends with our neighbors and enjoy drinks at 2 different restaurants on the State Park grounds. The weekends can get kinda crazy with parties but don't let that scare you away because it can be super fun!! Well until the next time, we love you all and thank you for your continued support with our journey!! Brittany, Jeremiah and Rhys!
