Added 2016-12-11 00:15:10 +0000 UTCToday was such a cool day! We got up at about 6am and Jeremiah took Bella to the beach via Taco to go potty. I readied the boat and when he got back we departed. It was just about sunrise. We had anchored right off the ICW behind a causeway in order to shield ourselves from the howling north winds. It was a great anchorage! We departed with two other sailboats and as we entered the ICW a few more joined us. We all raised our jib sails around the same time and sailed down the ICW together. The winds were at about 15 gusting to 20 at times. It was the first time we could sail for hours and hours with a solid wind on our beam. We sailed for about 6 straight hours. How cool is that?! We really only had to start our engine twice. Once behind some islands that we're blocking the wind and another when we had to open a bridge. Truly a beautiful day, we were even visited by a few dolphins along the way. Tonight we're in our new anchorage, tomorrow we continue on!
