Big things are brewing!
Added 2016-09-08 02:30:32 +0000 UTCHi everyone! We wanted to give you a few updates...FIRST! Ok, so today we had Jason aboard again and we got a few bugs worked out with our rigging. She's finely tuned now and we're ready to roll! Our plans have slid to the left a bit, so here's the new! We're headed south right around the 1st of October, Miami is the destination. We'll anchor the whole way there. Then it's provision time! We'll get the Gecko ready to cross into the Bahamas and then once Nov is upon us, we're headed across with one of you as crew! The guest crew already know who they are. We'll cross and then spend a week or two exploring the Bahamas before they head home. We'll continue to cruise through the Bahamas along our way south after they depart. That brings us to another big change in our plans. Thanksgiving! We had plans to spend the holiday with the kids but since we're leaving earlier and will be in the Bahamas in November we've decided to drop everything and get out to California to have a Thanksgiving in September! We're leaving this week, we are driving out. Along the way, we're meeting up with another popular Vlogger! Who?? Stay tuned!! Wanna come aboard the Lazy Gecko? Let us know!

Man ... you guys have got me hungry now. Sounds like a great plan. We're hoping to make it to the Bahamas early Spring, so we'll definitely get some cruising tips from you guys. Travel safe! Can't wait to watch the Geckos gunk-hole down to Miami!
