Character Preview: Izumi

I'm back from my trip, and I got a bit of inspiration from the people I saw there! So I decided to make a girl more closely matching and resembling the features of those girls. Can you guess where I went?? If you guessed Japan, you'd be right!

Meet Izumi, an adorable maid with a bit of a flirtatious side! Being quite skilled at the various forms of housework, on top of being bright, delightful and plenty cute, Izumi has long since left behind the days of being a cheap housekeeper or waitress at a cafe, and instead graduated into the world of being a private maid for the wealthy who can afford her. It shouldn't be any surprise either, given her down to earth beauty and charming smile. Perhaps part of her appeal is being more realistic, without any of the plastic surgery or crazy proportions that other popular models have. Izumi is someone who lets the results speak for themselves, and lets her natural gifts shine. In many ways, she's a bit of a breath of fresh air and nowadays, that's all you can really ask for!

With Izumi, I tried much harder to go for a realistic and down to earth approach to a Japanese girl. I kept the eyes on the smaller side, with the face being rounder and less defined. I kept her chest small, with slightly thicker and shorter legs which would be more realistic than the normal long and slender legs I tend to give my characters. Top that off with more of a waist and less of a defined hourglass figure, and you get what I believe to be one of my most real-to-life characters to date! Of course, this was just for fun, and I'm certain I will continue to make girls in my normal style. As an aside, the only mods I can remember which will be required are SaltedFish hair mods, I think most others are already in the repack. Also as an extra note, the cover photo of this collection is maybe my favorite photo I've taken ever! It's maybe the most natural pose I've ever made on my own, and I loved the lighting and lens flare in the composition. Now if you'll excuse me tooting my own horn, I have more girls to make x)
