More Traits #4
Added 2024-10-04 05:54:16 +0000 UTCHello! Here are the new traits that I have been working on.
How does this work?
Just like you would add any other CAS trait for your Sims. For reference, you can look at the photo and these are all the traits you would find in the game. These are compatible with all of my other previous traits.
Depending on what trait you use sims with the traits or sims around the sim with these traits can have certain reactions. It's just like how the traits work in general.
Some of the interactions and outcome for some of the traits:
A sim with the grudge holder trait wont want to be around someone they share a bad sentiment with. A buff may pop up depending on the sentiment.
Love Scorned: These Sims have been hurt in the past and carry the emotional scars of failed relationships. They are wary of new romantic encounters and are slower to trust. While they can build deep, lasting relationships with the right partner, they are quick to end things if they sense betrayal or dishonesty.
Obsessive Collector: These Sims have a passion for collecting items, whether it's rare stones, stamps, or vintage furniture. They gain happiness from adding to their collection and get excited when they find new or rare items.
Forbidden Lover: These Sims are drawn to relationships that are taboo or socially frowned upon. They get a thrill from the secrecy and danger of these relationships but face increased stress when the relationship is exposed or causes drama.
Impatient: These Sims hate waiting and get easily frustrated when things aren’t moving quickly enough. They tend to rush through activities, sometimes sacrificing quality for speed.
Clumsy Genius: These Sims are highly intelligent and excel in intellectual pursuits, but they lack physical grace. Despite their clumsiness, they are brilliant problem solvers and thrive in tasks that require brainpower.
Aesthetic Perfectionist: These Sims are obsessed with aesthetics and symmetry, always striving to create visually perfect environments. Their artistic skills are top-notch, and they spend extra time ensuring that every detail aligns with their high standards of beauty and harmony.
Love Cynic: These Sims are skeptical about romance and often find traditional expressions of love cheesy or insincere. They tend to avoid romantic interactions but can still develop deep, meaningful connections based on trust and companionship. Winning their heart requires patience and genuine effort.
Grudge Holder: These Sims have a hard time letting go of past slights and are known for holding onto grudges. They tend to remember every wrong done to them, which affects their relationships negatively.
What else do I need for the mod?
Nothing
Does this mod require any DLC?
The mod is BGC. The traits do tap into each pack so having them will create a more full experience. Not required though.
Questions and concerns you might have?
Report it here: Mod Bug Report
How to install the mod?
You can choose to download whichever trait you want from the downloads below OR you can download the zip file "Maplebell More CAS Traits #4" If there are also traits you do not want then you can delete them from the folder.
Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods <--- Unzip the file and make sure it's placed in this path.
Comments
so they don't count towards the traits you give your sim via CAS, they appear in lower part where the completed aspiration traits go, by putting them in the reward shop like chingyu has done with game traits.
