Maybe there were 4 brothers that invented the ellipsis in England, and each brother got represented by their own dot, and then like many things, one brother got lost in translation as the ellipses began to be adopted by other cultures and languages... I mean really the possible explanations are endless, and I am for too tired to type my questions into Google, so I stand by my own decision to ask here. Please and thank you and Merry Christmas. Actually I think David Jason (Del) is just short, Nicolas Lyndhurst (Rodney) is just under 6ft2. Most of the women seem to be shorter than both them and I would assume at that time (80s) they would normally wear heels.
