I'm currently baking the fluids I think I got it right for the first time ever. It's thick, runny and viscous, and most of all, IT DOESN"T BREAK after a few frames (meaning the dispersion of the liquid towards the gravity into a flat surface with the circle gaps that you've seen on my animations).
I've been using flip fluids for a couple of years now and I've never tried a few settings...well...those were the golden ones. Now I need to find a balance between a few settings to make the liquids look and behave as I want them. Which I'll do little by little on my future animations. Btw, the golden setting is Surface Tension. Ik Ik...I'm disappointed on myself too. đ
For now I'm extremely satisfied with the result so far. I'll do a low res 480p render test, after the bakes, just to be sure of the runniness, if it's too fast, but I think it's fine.
I'm so excited for this. I know it's not much but it was bothering me for a long time. I even thought of dropping the endings on my animations because I was doing bad liquids.
Now I'm so at awe with this "magic" and so happy! q(â§âœâŠq)
Tonight, I'll start rendering the under view and the final scene (POV with switch to underview), I believe it'll finish somewhere around tomorrow late night (in 28hrs or so, if my math are correct) I'll try to color correct the clips and add some audio tomorrow night and the remaining the day after.
Anyway, from now on I plan on doing these small WiP updates to keep you on the know, from start to finish, and share some of my work flow. I'm not a great teacher plus I'm a bit absent-minded so it's a bit difficult for me to do this but a change is always a good thing. I'll try my best though! đ
P.S.
I chose something in between for the lighting I mentioned before.
